What You'll Do
As a Senior Software Engineer on our team, you will be responsible for developing software systems that collect, manage, and analyze battery lifecycle data in alignment with our product roadmap. You'll work closely with a collaborative team to build and maintain applications that deliver critical functionality; improving performance, maintaining high code quality, and reducing technical debt.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full stack development, experience working in Agile environments, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. You'll also play an active role in sprint planning, architecture discussions, mentoring junior engineers, and staying up to date with emerging technologies-including AI tools that enhance software development workflows.

Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $99,000.00 - $165,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2 years' experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 16 years' experience in a related field
- 4+ years of full stack software development experience
- 4+ years of experience with PHP, jQuery, and Bootstrap
- 4+ years of experience developing on cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP acceptable)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with additional tech-stacks such as: Java, .NET or Node.js
- Experience working with relational databases, preferably MySQL
- Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
- Strong planning and time management skills; meeting deadlines and quality standards
- Effective communicator; able to present technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Skilled at collaborating across cross-functional teams and aligning stakeholders around shared goals
- Demonstrated experience with:
- Agentic coding
- AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT)
- Advanced prompt engineering
