The Sr Software engineer - AI is a key contributor in the design and development of state-of-the-art NLP for medical applications. This role will work closely with other NLP developers, software engineers and subject matter experts on current company technologies and forward-looking projects.

- Enhancement and maintenance of existing enterprise NLP technologies and extension of those systems to new clinical domains and applications
- Working on the augmentation of various clinical knowledge resources (lexicons, nomenclatures, hierarchies, ontologies and rule systems) underlying the core NLP and AI modules
- Evaluating the performance of those components on clinical documents at scale in production environments
- Generating and interpreting domain/solution analytics in collaboration with engineering

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Computational Linguistics or Computer Science
- 7+ years of overall professional industry experience
- 7+ experience in Java or C#, Python, and SQL
- 5+ years of NLP development experience
- 3+ years of experience in a Cloud environment preferably AWS
- 1+ years of experience with Prompt Engineering
- Proven solid understanding of Medical terminology & coding
- Experience interfacing and presenting to senior management, clients, and clinicians
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters in Computational Linguistics or Computer Science
- Familiarity with Docker, AWS or Azure, GitHub, CI/CD
- Experience in working with voice to text technologies like MModal, Suki or Dax (Dragon)
- Experience working with ontologies
