Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test in Austin, TX to collaborate with QA and Devs teams to ensure high-quality for web applications and content delivery platform. Requires a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent and two (2) years of experience designing and implementing robust, scalable, and reusable automation testing frameworks for web applications and backend services using Selenium WebDriver, Rest-Assured, and Java; automating functional, regression, and performance testing for applications; reporting, tracking, and verifying system defects using JIRA and Grafana; designing Jenkins declarative pipelines to integrate automation test suites and schedule nightly builds; automating testing of RESTful APIs using Postman and Rest-Assured; managing test frameworks to enhance efficiency and maintainability, utilizing tools including Selenium WebDriver, Rest-Assured, Java, Maven, Jenkins, and Git; coordinating and collaborating with onshore and offshore engineers to ensure continuous delivery of work and adherence to processes; monitoring system logs using observability and monitoring tools including AWS CloudWatch and Datadog; coordinating release regression testing and performing post-production validations to ensure application stability; utilizing Git for version control and conducting thorough code reviews for pull requests (PRs), ensuring code quality and adherence to standards. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. Sony is an EOE.
Salary range: $187,000.00 – $228,700.00/year
