A Lot About You
We are seeking a Sr. Atlassian Engineer who can help modernize how our user base engages with the platform. The focus of this role is to enhance the user experience, strengthen standards and guardrails, and drive a shift towards greater self service.

Responsibilities:
Administer, configure, and maintain the health of Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Loom, Rovo, and Confluence for a user base of 5000+ employees.
Manage global settings, user permissions, and security schemes in a central shared management environment, ensuring strict adherence to compliance and data privacy standards.
Build scalable self service pattern templates, request types, forms and automations that enable teams to manage their own workflows.
Simplify workflows, configuration and establish standards that reduce complexity and prevent sprawl.
Build advanced Jira Automations (Global and Project level) to reduce manual toil and streamline cross-functional handoffs.
Utilize scripting (e.g., ScriptRunner) to extend Jira capabilities beyond out-of-the-box functionality.
Evaluate Atlassian Cloud features and Marketplace apps to guide platform improvements.
Use insights and usage trends to identify friction points and drive continuous enhancement of the Jira/JSM experience.
Act as the "Gatekeeper of Process": Consult with business units to translate their requirements into standard, scalable solutions rather than creating one-off customizations.
Manage and maintain Atlassian internal application code repositories within GitHub, ensuring proper version control, access management, and alignment with development workflows.
Requirements:
A problem solver, self motivated and life time learner.
Has an ownership mindset.
5+ years administering Atlassian Cloud software and marketplace plugins.
Bachelor of Science college degree.
Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP).
Experience with Atlassian Cloud Migrations.
Experience working in a central shared services model, balancing flexibility for teams with the stability of the platform.
Experience with Java, Python scripting.
Ability to simplify complex setups and build standardized reusable patterns.
Comfortable working in an environment focused on modernization, user experience and operational efficiency.
Partner with cross functional teams to translate needs into clean, supportable configurations.

The compensation for this position ranges from $128,250.00 - $266,875.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
