In this role, you'll build and nurture relationships with clients, identify new business opportunities, and leverage your technical background to understand and address their unique needs. Whether you come from a technical engineering background or have experience in IP (RISC V or AI) or hardware sales, your skills will be invaluable.

This role is Remote, based out of anywhere

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Understand clients' technical needs and effectively position & communicate the value of our Compute and AI solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing technical insights and recommendations.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and developments in Compute, AI, and related technologies.
  • Provide regular reports on sales pipeline, forecasts, and KPIs to senior management and maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Compute and AI: A deep understanding of Compute and AI technologies is essential for this role. You should be able to articulate the benefits and applications of these technologies to potential clients.
  • Technical Background: Ideally, you have a technical background and may have worked as an engineer in the past. This technical knowledge will be invaluable when engaging with clients and addressing their specific needs.
  • Sales Acumen: While this is not a management role initially, strong sales skills are a must. You should be a persuasive communicator, able to negotiate effectively, and close deals.
  • Experience in IP (RISC V or AI) or Hardware Sales: Candidates with experience in the IP (RISC V or AI) world or hardware sales to the AI ecosystem are highly desirable. Knowledge of these domains will give you a competitive edge.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred (Engineering, Computer Science, Business, etc.).
  • Proven track record of successful sales in a technical environment.
  • 10+ years experience in account management and sales at in relevant industries
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
