Role Overview

We are seeking a rockstar Sr. Sales Enablement Program Manager - Field Onboarding to manage and scale high-impact global onboarding programs for our Sales and Field Engineering teams. This role will be a key contributor to the success of Field Onboarding at Databricks, bringing exceptional program management expertise as we architect, build, and scale Field Onboarding. 

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, has managed the planning and execution of both virtual and in-person enablement events in a supporting or lead role, and has a track record of being data-driven in measuring program impact. 

Additionally the ideal candidate values collaboration and attention to detail, is passionate about leveraging technology to boost productivity, and is an expert communicator who helps make the complex simple. 

Key Responsibilities

Program Management

    • Own the end-to-end planning and coordination of global Field Onboarding programs, supported by a team of facilitators and content specialists.
    • Lead coordination of internal field teams and SMEs to ensure onboarding programs are properly resourced and prepared to deliver an exceptional onboarding experience.  
    • Support and facilitate virtual onboarding training as needed.
    • Document and maintain onboarding handbooks, detailing the steps to prepare and execute new hire training for Sales and Field Engineering programs. 
    • Manage the new hire mentorship program and technology stack.
    • Maintain and curate LMS content repository, ensuring training materials remain current 

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

    • Partner closely with Sales, Field Engineering, StratOps, and cross-functional leaders to ensure onboarding initiatives are aligned with business goals and GTM strategies.
    • Gather and prioritize requirements from field and business leaders to inform program strategy and ensure relevance.

Measurement & Impact

    • Lead the compiling and measurement of KPIs related to program effectiveness (e.g., ramp time, productivity, etc).
    • Report on concurrent tasks, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring all milestones are met. 
    • Use data-driven insights and participant feedback to iterate and continuously raise the bar on program quality and outcomes.
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in enablement, program management, or L&D, with a proven track record of managing and scaling enablement programs for sales and/or field engineering roles in a high-growth SaaS or technology environment.
  • Strong program management skills: able to independently manage multiple complex projects, drive execution, and deliver measurable results at scale.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive presence, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
  • Data-driven mindset: comfortable defining metrics, analyzing impact, and iterating programs for continuous improvement.
  • Background and proficiency using an enablement technology stack (LMS/CMS) and Google Workspace. Experienced with applying AI tooling into project management workflows. 
  • Positive, proactive attitude: you thrive in ambiguity, operate with a high degree of ownership, and embody a growth mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global, distributed team.
