Job Profile Summary

The Sr. Sales Commissions Analyst will be responsible for performing accurate and timely calculations of sales commission and incentive compensation. This position acts as a subject matter expert, taking ownership of the end-to-end commission process, from data validation and calculation to analysis and issue resolution. This role supports day-to-day administration of compensation plans, ensuring data integrity across multiple systems and assists with reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities & Essential Functions

  • Follow all CDK Global policies and procedures
  • Complete all mandatory assigned compliance tasks and acknowledgements
  • Meet or exceed all performance expectations
  • Accurately calculate monthly/quarterly/annual commission payments ensuring calculations align with approved compensation plans.
  • As a subject matter expert, this role partners with sales personnel to investigate and resolve commission inquiries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Support management with ad-hoc analyses related to sales performance, attainment, and incentive outcomes.
  • Calculates and records sales quota and other adjustments in the system.
  • Participate in testing and validation of compensation system updates or process improvements.
  • Partners with the broader Sales Compensation team and Sales Operations to evaluate sales transactions to ensure appropriate sales credit is awarded per the sales policy.
  • Partners with Sales Operations to operationalize sales promotions, and reporting results.
  • Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, or enhance processes to reduce manual work and errors.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation of commission calculations, approvals, and payments.
  • Ensures compliance with SOX controls.

Required Job Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, mathematics, or related field.
  • 4 – 6+ years of experience in commission analysis, financial analysis or compensation administration.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency including pivot tables, complex formulas, and use of functions such as VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH and nested logical statements to calculate and analyze commission data.
  • Solid proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Power Point, Word).
  • Experience working with sales incentive compensation systems and ERP/CRM tools  such as Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft 365.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Self-motivated and organized with the ability to prioritize and compete tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with sales and business partners across North America.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other data analytics tools is a plus.

Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000

CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.  The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.We offer Medical, dental, and vision benefits in addition to:
