Are you ready to develop and execute formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications? Spectrum is looking for a results-driven Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to help deliver flawless software that serves millions of customers. You'll create and execute test strategies, champion quality standards, and mentor peers across a dynamic engineering environment.
BE A PART OF THE CONNECTION
As a Senior QA Analyst at Spectrum, you will be involved in test planning, writing and automating test cases/scripts, and executing tests. You will work on complex projects across multiple development environments and programs, becoming a subject matter expert for programs or systems.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Design, document, and run manual and automated tests for complex applications.
  • Track and report quality metrics (defects, coverage, test results) to stakeholders.
  • Partner with developers, analysts, and product teams to clarify requirements and improve SDLC practices.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and drive process improvements across projects.
  • Guide and mentor junior testers, championing QA best practices.
  • Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status.
  • Collect and analyze data for software process evaluation and improvements, and integrate them into business processes to address the business needs.
  • Document all problems and assist in their resolution.
  • Deliver quality process training to technical staff and act as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners.
  • Perform quality audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed.

What You'll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
  • BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience)

Experience
  • 5+ years system development, business/systems analysis, QA/testing experience with solid knowledge of SDLC and defect management.

Skills
  • Demonstrated communicator (written and verbal): ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables with a keen attention to detail
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, driven individual
  • Ability to analyze and assist in resolving defects
  • Ability to work with cross-functional team of internal and external resources located onshore and offshore
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Critical thinker, ability to negotiate with key stakeholders and maintain positive attitude
  • Good understanding of quality assurance process, tools, and methodologies
  • Demonstrated understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Creative solving of technical problems to ensure the ability to translate technical requirements into test plans
  • Ability to lead a team through effective delegation, training, and motivation
  • Ability to track multiple test efforts simultaneously and to be able to synthesize the results in fast paced environment
  • Proficient in using Test Suite or other Testing Tools

Preferred Experience
  • Native Spanish speaker is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, or similar) and SQL
  • Familiarity with test management tools (HP ALM, Jira, TestRail) and CI/CD pipelines
  • API testing, performance testing, and Chatbot testing experience
  • Understanding of database schemas and querying tools

Preferred Education
  • Testing Certification ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
