Our challenge
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with extensive experience in Generative AI, Machine Learning, and automation to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge AI solutions. Candidate will collaborate across teams to deliver innovative products and optimize performance through data-driven insights, automation, and advanced modelling techniques.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Dallas, TX/Jersey City, NJ/Charlotte, NC is $110k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Solution Development & Testing: Develop robust Python solutions, including automated unit tests to ensure quality, compliance, and adherence to acceptance criteria for each feature/story.
- Automation & Release Management: Automate manual release procedures and design maintainable automated test suites to streamline deployment cycles.
- Proof of Concept & Innovation: Lead and execute POCs focused on AI/ML use cases, evaluating new technologies and approaches.
- AI/ML Model Development & Deployment: Design, develop, and deploy ML/AI models on cloud platforms. Manage model source code using Git/Bitbucket and monitor models in production.
- Data & Model Engineering: Build data pipelines, perform data analysis, and optimize query performance to support AI/ML workflows.
- Framework & Tool Development: Create or extend frameworks and tools tailored for AI/ML applications.
- Architectural Design: Integrate multiple architectural components—data, application, and business—to create scalable, efficient solutions.
- CI/CD Implementation: Lead or contribute to continuous integration and deployment processes, ensuring smooth release pipelines.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage effectively with multiple stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and deliver solutions aligned with business needs.
- Estimation & Planning: Contribute to sprint planning and effort estimation for AI/ML projects within Agile environments.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years of professional Python development with deep expertise in AI/ML applications.
- AI/ML Expertise: Proven extensive hands-on experience in developing, optimizing, and deploying ML models, especially in Generative AI, query optimization, and related areas.
- Cloud Proficiency: Experience deploying and maintaining models on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Programming & Libraries: Proficient in Python and its standard libraries, with familiarity in AI/ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.
- Automation & Testing: Strong background in automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and release automation.
- Data Skills: Strong data analysis, query optimization, and familiarity with data engineering processes.
- Methodologies: Agile experience, managing multiple stakeholders, and delivering end-to-end solutions.
- Team Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, proactive problem-solving, and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
