Job Description

Purpose:

Manages and maintains the tools and technologies utilized by the strategic proposal development (SPD) team in the development of request for information (RFI) responses and proposal documents, as well as the commercial content management tools. Works with internal and external (vendor) stakeholders to optimize and enhance SPD tool and technologies, serving as a thought partner and supporting tools and technologies implementation.

Major Job Responsibilities

  • Contributes to SPD's comprehensive tools and technologies strategy and roadmap that aligns with company priorities.
  • Follows and contributes to departmental processes and guidance documents related to tools and technologies.
  • Collaborates with SPD team members to identify tool/technology requirements, address gaps, gather feedback and refine the tools/technologies.
  • Drives adherence to global tool standards.
  • Drives adoption of SPD tools and technologies through regular team updates.
  • Provides day-to-day end user technical support, taking initiative to mitigate and solve user issues.
  • Creates and delivers user trainings in collaboration with the Commercial Enablement and Effectiveness team.
  • Creates and delivers key communications to  the organization through official channels to disseminate critical SPD tool information (e.g., new features, system outages).
  • Escalates low adherence to policies regarding SPD tools and technologies to the appropriate functional leader.

Education  /  Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5+ years).

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to implement technological systems with little oversight
  • Proven skills working in various technological systems (e.g., SharePoint, knowledge and content management software, proposal management software, generative artificial intelligence [AI])
  • Demonstrated ability to independently solve complex problems and overcome challenges
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Superior planning, organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others and mentor other team members
  • Ability to independently work well under pressure and meet deadlines with a quality product
