Job Description:

ALL Program ManagersLead the execution and strategic oversight of key initiatives for the Design & Construction CoE, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and delivering measurable value across system-wide capital programs.Act as a senior subject matter expert in healthcare design and construction.Evaluate and optimize enterprise-wide systems and processes, establishing and enforcing industry-leading standards and best practices to support a high-performing, scalable Center of Excellence.Direct and facilitate cross-functional teams through the CoE community of practice, driving consensus and accountability. Define and manage roles, responsibilities, deliverables, dependencies, and timelines to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.Leverage regional and national subject matter experts to inform and lead the rationalization and standardization of processes, reducing variation and increasing operational efficiency across all projects.Oversee the lifecycle of program initiatives, including the development of system-wide standards, progress tracking, and executive-level reporting. Ensure adherence to program schedules and proactively manage risks and dependencies.Analyze enterprise data and performance metrics to identify trends, inform decision-making, and evaluate post-occupancy outcomes. Integrate innovative technologies and emerging best practices into system standards and continuous improvement programs.Provide high-level technical leadership and guidance to project teams, resolving complex challenges and ensuring alignment with strategic goals, regulatory requirements, and organizational priorities   Specific duties assigned to EQUIPMENT:Lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of the system-wide vision for AdventHealth’s Design and Construction standards, guidelines, and playbooks related to owner-furnished equipment. Ensure alignment with enterprise goals and capital program objectives.Oversee the assessment, selection, and management of in-house and third-party service providers. Make strategic decisions regarding resource allocation to optimize performance, cost-efficiency, and service quality.Direct and provide executive oversight for in-house scope of services, including cost estimating, design document review, procurement strategy, reporting, and deployment activities. Ensure successful and timely delivery of owner-furnished equipment across all projects.Manage third-party service providers by validating scope, ensuring compliance with AdventHealth standards, and aligning deliverables with project and customer needs. Provide leadership in resolving escalated issues and ensuring accountability.Develop, manage, and report on enterprise-level equipment budgets, including forecasting, variance analysis, and monthly executive reporting. Ensure financial transparency and alignment with capital planning strategies.Serve as the primary liaison with internal customers, vendors, and external partners. Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure adherence to program milestones and standards.Champion a value-based approach to equipment standards that supports organizational goals, enhances capital efficiency, and integrates with operational workflows. Lead initiatives to evaluate and implement innovative technologies and procurement strategies. Specific duties assigned to DESIGN:Lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of the system-wide vision for AdventHealth’s Design and Construction standards, guidelines, and playbooks. Ensure alignment with enterprise goals, regulatory requirements, and industry-leading practices.Continuously monitor and evaluate industry trends, innovations, and emerging technologies, integrating relevant advancements into system standards and support programs to drive design excellence, sustainability, and operational efficiency.Serve as the primary design liaison with internal stakeholders, external partners, and vendors. Facilitate collaboration, track progress, and proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact program milestones or standard implementation.Champion a value-based, data-informed approach to design standardization that supports capital stewardship, enhances patient and staff experience, and aligns with operational and clinical priorities.Provide strategic design leadership across the organization, influencing enterprise-wide initiatives and ensuring that design solutions reflect AdventHealth’s mission, brand, and long-term vision.   Specific duties assigned to CONSTRUCTION:Lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of the system-wide vision for AdventHealth’s construction standards, guidelines, and playbooks. Ensure alignment with enterprise goals, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.Continuously monitor and evaluate construction industry trends, innovations, and emerging technologies. Integrate relevant advancements into system standards and support programs to enhance construction delivery, safety, and cost-effectiveness.Serve as the primary construction liaison with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external partners. Oversee progress tracking, risk identification, and issue resolution to ensure timely and successful implementation of program standards.Champion a value-based approach to construction standardization that supports capital efficiency, operational integration, and long-term sustainability. Ensure that construction practices align with organizational goals and the needs of both capital management and operational functions.Provide strategic leadership and oversight across all construction-related initiatives, ensuring consistency, quality, and accountability in project execution across the AdventHealth system.   Specific duties assigned to PROJECT CONTROLS:Lead the strategic planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of project management tools and systems used to manage strategic capital and operating budgets. Collaborate with the System Program Manager, IT, Finance, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.Provide direct leadership and oversight of the Project Controls team, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and professional development. Foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture focused on accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.Oversee the development, training, and mentoring of team members to ensure consistent application of standardized reporting tools, cost control processes, earned value management, and scheduling methodologies across all projects.Drive the standardization, integration, and governance of AdventHealth Way technology solutions for construction delivery. Ensure consistent application of healthcare design and construction project management standards, contract administration practices, and financial reporting protocols to enhance operational efficiency and deliver measurable financial value.Provide executive-level insights and reporting to senior leadership, synthesizing complex data into actionable intelligence. Deliver timely and accurate project controls outputs, including forecasts, variance analysis, risk assessments, performance metrics, and scenario modeling to support strategic decision-making.Serve as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor on project controls, offering guidance on best practices, risk mitigation strategies, and process optimization. Lead the development and implementation of enterprise-wide project controls frameworks, tools, and performance benchmarks.Collaborate with the CoE Business Analyst and cross-functional teams to lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive value analysis documentation, initiative tracking, and benchmarking. Ensure alignment with enterprise-wide performance improvement goals, capital planning strategies, and long-range financial planning.Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards, and support the development of policies and procedures that govern project controls practices across the organization.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Expert knowledge of local Department of Health Administration regulations, JCAHO / DNV standards, and other applicable codes of the construction industry.Expert knowledge of the design and construction industry and standard practices, and how they relate to healthcare facilities.Expert understanding of architectural practices including master planning, feasibility studies, medical planning, building design and construction documents.Comprehensive understating of Owner Furnished Equipment such as modular furniture, interior finishes, medical equipment, and artwork.Comprehensive understanding of large engineering systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and engineering maintenance, including ability to problem solve effectively.Excellent project management, financial analysis, and strategic planning skills required.Ability to read and interpret construction documents, Revit, CAD drawings and related documents.Excellent oral, written, and organizational skillsEffective computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and Bluebeam.Ability to work in a matrix-management environment to achieve organizational goals.Strong organizational ability with attention to detail and the flexibility to adjust to changing conditions and the various details of the position.Ability to work effectively and efficiently, independently or with a team with minimal supervision.Ability to quickly develop relationships to influence change and elicit action.Ability to assess complex scenarios and make recommendations concerning matters of major importance to CoE governance leaders.Strong business acumen, intelligence, and capacity; able to think strategically and implement tactically.Ability to accept responsibility for actions and results, with a drive to achieve and outperform, and desire for continuous learning and improvement.Working knowledge of program management, market research and data analytics.

Field of Study:
• in architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field  
Work Experience:
• 10+ years management experience in project or program management coordinating the conceptual planning through the completion phases in the design and construction of health care. [Required]
