Designed by Optometrists, for Optometrists, Eye Cloud Pro, part of the Fullsteam organization, brings together leading EHR, POS, and Practice Management capabilities into a single, seamless platform. Eye Cloud Pro’s optometry software lets you focus on growing your practice while we handle the day-to-day operations.

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the development of our Optical Practice Management Solution. The ideal candidate possesses a blend of agile project management skills, a deep understanding of software development processes, and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences. Knowledge of medical billing systems, particularly within the optical and healthcare industries, is a significant plus.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to translate business needs and customer desires into actionable development plans.

  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog, focusing on delivering maximum value and continuously delivery.

  • Document and test acceptance criteria within user story breakdown.      

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.

  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

  • Facilitate agile processes and ceremonies, driving the team towards continuous improvement.

  • Continuously assess market trends, competitor products, and customer feedback to inform product strategy.

  • Support beta, pilot, and customer advisory groups.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in software development projects.

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including scrum, kanban, or other relevant frameworks.

  • Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Experience using data and analytics to inform product strategy and prioritization.

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • SQL Server skills required.

  • AWS, Oracle, JavaScript, Jira, Confluence, Toad, Postman, Visual Studio skills preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to make decisions under pressure and prioritize effectively.

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Previous experience in the healthcare or optical industries is a plus, especially related to billing and patient management workflows.
