We are actively seeking a Sr. Product Marketing Director - Optimize This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the U.S.

Position Summary

Rimini Street is seeking a high performing product marketer to lead our product marketing strategy and execution for Managed and Professional Service offerings. As the Sr. Product Marketing Director, you will be driving the overall go-to-market strategy, messaging and positioning and execution working closely with Revenue, Global Campaigns, Regional Marketing and Sales Enablement teams. Working with senior marketing and sales leaders as well as industry analysts and press, you will play a key role in evangelizing Rimini Street’s services as well as executing sales and marketing programs to meet revenue targets and client satisfaction goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Positioning and Messaging: Develop clear and compelling value propositions for Rimini Street services, highlighting differentiation that effectively communicates our value to target audiences
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to build a marketing strategy, that comprises of the needs, competitive landscape, and trends in the industry in services sector to inform positioning and messaging.
  • Go-to-Market: Develop, execute, and deliver on a robust go-to-market strategy, with the definition and prioritization of segments, and guidance on promotional activities
  • Content: Create a content strategy with key collateral showcasing the benefits of our offerings with materials like e-books, case studies, white papers, web content, blogs, videos and presentations
  • Sales Enablement: Enable the success of global sales and client engagement teams via assets, tools and collateral resulting in deliverable such as positioning statements, key messages, real-world proof points/metrics/client quotes, competitive rollups, web page content, blogs/posts/tweets, client success stories, e-books/white papers and training sessions
  • Insights: Identify and monitor client feedback, industry trends and market opportunities and partnering with product management to evaluate and support justification to pursue and improve opportunities to add value to our offerings
  • Insights: Develop deep market insights including competitive positioning, pricing and packaging recommendations and sales playbook to attract, win and grow clients

  • Ability to manage heavy workload and fast-changing conditions is critical

Top candidates will be well-versed and experienced in industry or vertical marketing services and enterprise software oriented solutions and products.

Experience 

  • Minimum 10-12+ years of experience in progressively senior marketing roles
  • Product marketing experience in data services, professional services, managed services is highly desirable

Qualifications & Skills

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Positive, problem solving mindset and a passion for quality work
  • Strength in working with varied groups including executive management, delivery, sales and marketing teams
  • Quick learner and must be able to respond to a variety of sales and marketing inquiries with tight deadlines - Ability to easily interact with a demanding group of executive, sales and marketing team members, appropriately handling requests from different individuals
  • Demonstrates a high level of energy and is a self-starter
  • Experience in developing Go-To-Market strategies (solution and services definition, packaging, pricing and positioning) for leading technology, services or ERP companies is required
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to represent marketing plans and strategic priorities to senior executives, sales, clients, prospects, analysts and press
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Ability to work across the entire organization with senior leaders to build consensus on product marketing priorities is a must
  • Must be able to develop and sustain relationships with key influencer's, clients and analysts
  • Thought leadership skills
  • Ability to demonstrate new points of views to the business and industry and set the intellectual direction for marketing Rimini Street support services and strategy

Education

  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred

Compensation is based on role, location, and level of applicable experience. 

Rimini’s target pay for each position is available upon request during the applicant’s Interview process.

The general salary range for this type of role is 173k - 217k depending on skills and experience.
