About the Role

As a Senior Product Manager at WEX Inc.’s Enterprise Product Innovation team, you’ll imagine and launch transformational products that will redefine the future of commerce, mobility, and payments. You will lead product discovery, strategy and execution of early-stage opportunities, from first spark to working prototype to launched product.

In this role, you’ll build deep empathy with customers to identify problems worth solving, and collaborate with design and engineering on a small, nimble team to bring 10x ideas from 0 to 1. You’ll test concepts early with customers, and shape go-to-market strategies to gain real customer traction. You’ll also partner with cross-functional leaders to unlock domain expertise and gain buy-in for bold bets.

If you are a high-agency builder who gets things done because no blocker can stop you, has built with AI because you are curious, makes decisions with imperfect data, and can obsess over details of the user experience as much as you can excel in thinking across systems, this role is for you!

What You’ll Do
  • Discover opportunity spaces at the intersection of customer needs, emerging technology / AI capabilities, and WEX’s strengths to unlock new growth.

  • Bring fearless creativity, first principles and second-order thinking to push past conventional boundaries when brainstorming solutions.

  • Run rapid experiments to test assumptions and validate problem-solution fit with real-world signals.

  • Partner with design and engineering to turn raw concepts into prototypes and products that customers can touch, test, and love.

  • Translate messy inputs into clear insights by combining qualitative and quantitative data to shape fast product decisions.

  • Craft and pilot go-to-market strategies that give early customers a front-row seat to our innovation and help us learn fast from the field.

  • Stay on the edge of AI evolution, and become skilled at building with agentic AI, designing multimodal interactions, writing evals, and context engineering in AI products and workflows.

  • Communicate findings, pivots, and bold recommendations with confidence to senior leaders and stakeholders.

  • Champion AI innovation in our org by modeling how to build with AI, and ship impactful AI-native, customer-centric products at speed.

What You Bring
  • 3-5 years of experience building tech products in roles such as founder, product manager, engineer, designer, data scientist, or researcher — ideally with exposure to startups or innovation-focused teams.

  • A proven ability to take ideas from 0 to 1, leading early-stage product development to real customer traction, especially with AI-powered products.

  • Demonstrated product sense and great taste in the products you’ve built.

  • A bias for action: you move fast, focus on impact, and love tackling high-value customer problems.

  • Deep empathy for customers, partners, and stakeholders, and the ability to balance their needs with business outcomes.

  • A clear communicator who brings people along for the ride and collaborates effectively across functions (engineering, design, finance, sales, marketing) to connect dots and drive progress.

  • Sharp problem-solving skills and sound judgment for navigating complex challenges, assessing risks, and framing solutions that balance data and intuition.
