The Role

We care deeply about design. For us, it’s both how it works and how it looks. In this role, you’ll work closely with a small team of product designers and cross-functional partners to create product experiences for today and shape what’s next. You'll translate user needs into high-quality designs, interactions, and prototypes. We believe that great user experiences come from a deep focus on detail and a strong design mindset—and at Summation, designers lead the way in bringing that vision to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of polished features and experiences, from initial ideas to final visuals and prototypes

  • Collaborate closely with engineers, PMs, AI researchers, and designers to align on long-term goals and immediate priorities

  • Work closely with engineers and other partners to ensure a high-quality implementation.

  • Support and expand our design system as our product evolves

  • Help build a strong design culture and contribute to the growth of our team

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of design experience with a focus on Web and Mobile platforms

  • Excellent visual, UI, and interaction skills

  • A strong portfolio showcasing successful product designs created in fast-paced environments

  • Love thinking through complex interaction design problems

  • Ability to express ideas through visuals and prototyping

  • Deep systems thinker and experience in implementing design systems

  • Flexible and comfortable with ambiguity and change during a project

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Nice to have: experience in brand, motion, typography, or print design
