Fandom is growing! Our Senior Product Analyst opportunity is a remote position in the US, and reports to our Director of Product Analytics.
Fandom is the largest global entertainment platform powered by fans. The Analytics team is a fan of telling compelling stories through diving deep into our data and informing stakeholders of "what's next".
This role will focus on providing analytical support to our Product & Stakeholder teams located in the US
- Proactively dig into the "why" behind user behavior, feature usage, and new product launch performance. Deliver these analyses to interested stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Create KPIs and dashboards to monitor key revenue and monetization product performance, including new product launches to mitigate risks, measure success, and recommend optimizations. Streamline the current reporting process to drive more insights
- Leverage data visualization techniques and communication skills to present complex analytical findings in clear business terms that facilitate acceptance and execution by business partners and senior executives
- Partner with key stakeholders on our Product teams, revenue and finance teams to manage an analytics backlog in Monetization domain and prioritize your workload based on ROI to team OKRs
- Analyze A/B and multivariate tests for ads products in our monetization domain and serve as an advocate for proper experimental design and testing
- Storytell interesting trends across our user base and traffic patterns to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Be able to defend code and translate this code into actionable recommendations
- Maintain relationships with our Finance and revenue team, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Product, and other teams that you'll interact with on a regular basis
- 3-5 years of analytics experience
- Demonstrable experience in influencing a product roadmap
- A passion to share your knowledge. We're a wiki platform at our core.
- Experience in SQL is required. We use s3/Athena, Snowflake and Big Query
- Knowledge of dashboarding tools. We use Tableau, Superset, Google sheets and Excel
- Familiarity with A/B testing and statistical significance techniques such as t-test, ANOVA, correlation etc
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - ability to clearly articulate and present insights to creative and technical teams alike
- Experience with ad-supported products and ad tech concepts: RPM, eCPM, fill, viewability, IVT, brand safety, GAM/Ad Manager, Prebid, SSPs.
- Experience in working in scrum teams in an agile environment is a plus. You'll be working with 3-5 product managers and expected to attend standups, retros, and sprint launches.
