About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Senior Product Analyst to join our Annuity Illustration Support team, part of the Individual Retirement Product Management organization. This individual will support the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of illustration capabilities for all annuity products, including Fixed, Index, Registered Index-Linked Annuities (RILA), and Variable. The analyst will partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver accurate, efficient, and compliant illustration experiences that support our distribution, customer and sales objectives. The analyst will also manage various technical and automation initiatives to streamline processes, optimize efficiencies, reduce manual workloads, enhance scalability, and minimize operational risk. A strong communicator with a transformational mindset and tech-leaning approach will thrive in this dynamic and evolving environment.
Responsibilities

- Product Implementation and Support:
- Lead and coordinate analysis for new product implementations and product changes in the illustration system
- Serve as SME for annuity illustration functionalities, ensuring alignment with provided actuarial calculation tools, and regulatory guidelines
- Support rate updates, performance updates, and related testing on the Illustration, Calculator tools, and FinTech platforms
- Test Planning and Execution:
- Design and execute test plans and test cases for new products, features, and system upgrades
- Identify and escalate issues found in testing; track resolution with internal and external partners
- Use data fluency and problem-resolution skills to uncover root causes and drive continuous improvement
- Business and Technical Analysis:
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for illustration system changes
- Review and validate technical specs provided by vendors, ensuring accurate representation of product features and design elements
- Carry out other tasks and assignments as necessary to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective support and implementation of new initiatives and other projects involving sales, distribution partners, and ongoing management of the company’s annuity products
- Vendor and Platform Management:
- Liaison with vendors on illustration system initiatives and projects
- Support and help lead illustration enhancements
- Automation and Integration Projects:
- Support API integrations, robotics process automation (RPA), and future artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives to streamline illustration system operations and data workflows
- Bring an innovative mindset to evaluate and adopt new technologies, including AI-driven enhancements or automation opportunities where applicable
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with Product Development/Management, Actuarial, Legal, Compliance, Ad-Review, Sales, and Marketing to ensure illustration solutions meet user needs and regulatory standards
- Participate in business readiness activities, including documentation, user support, and training
- Contribute to change management efforts by preparing stakeholders for system or process changes and supporting alignment to strategic initiatives
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in annuity product support, business analysis, or illustration system roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Math, or technology or other relevant field (preferred)
- Annuity industry experience and product knowledge (strongly preferred)
- Solid understanding of the sales process and how Annuity products are sold (a plus)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to understand impacts of simple to complex concepts
- Experience testing software applications and a thorough understanding of the functional and regression testing cycles
- Ability to understand complex mathematical concepts and review/update complex Excel formulas (preferred)
- Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (preferred)
- Excellent MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint) skills
- Intermediate ability to read and edit XML syntax (preferred)
- Understanding of functional requirements for third-party integrations and the technical documentation for associated APIs, RPA tools, and digital integration workflows (a plus)
- Quick learner of new products, systems, applications, and technologies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Can translate functional requirements into actionable technical specifications
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting, and adhere to deadlines
- Exceptional organization and follow-up skills
- Collaborates effectively with project team members, across organizational lines, and vendor partners
- Consistent adherence to established processes and procedures.
- Ability to effectively adapt and adjust to change

Compensation
The anticipated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $90,000 at the commencement of employment. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered will ultimately be dependent on multiple factors, which may include the candidate’s geographic location, skills, experience and other qualifications. In addition, the position is eligible for a discretionary bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. Corebridge also offers a range of competitive benefits as part of the total compensation package, as detailed below.
Work Location
This position is based in Corebridge Financial’s Houston, TX or Woodland Hills, CA office and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
