LPL is looking for a Product Analyst / Business Analyst to partner with the Finance and Advisor Capital Business and Product teams. This role will lead requirements gathering, coordinate with business and finance SMEs, and handle light project management and reporting from a product standpoint. The ideal candidate will help refine critical initiatives, providing the necessary analysis and documentation to streamline processes, understand key third party integrations and technologies, and enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:

  • Organize and facilitate sessions with Business, Finance, Technology and other key stakeholders to help capture and document critical requirements
  • Partner with Product and Tech teams to elicit and document requirements
  • Serve as a primary contact for cross-functional queries, translating business needs into actionable specifications.
  • Work alongside the Product Manager and Product Owner to assist in creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlogs in an agile environment.
  • Create and maintain process flows, feature definitions, and other artifacts that articulate business and technical requirements.
  • Provide light project management support by tracking milestones, dependencies, and deliverables with support from the Scrum Master and Product Owner.
  • Prepare regular status updates and progress reports, ensuring leadership visibility into risks and achievements.
  • Data Analysis & Validation
  • Identify potential gaps or issues in existing data flows and propose corrective actions.
  • Assist in facilitation of agile ceremonies (refinement, planning, demos) as needed, promoting best practices in product development

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of Business Analyst or Product Analyst experience, ideally in financial services or another highly regulated setting.

Core Competencies:

  • Basic understanding of agile methodologies and product management
  • Experience with Jira for backlog management.
  • Process Mapping & Communication
  • Proficient in process flow documentation, requirement gathering, and bridging business-technical conversations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, capable of delivering concise, clear updates to leadership and peers.
  • Collaboration: Works well across business, ops, and technical teams, building consensus and managing priorities.
  • Organization: Adept at juggling multiple workstreams, dependencies, and reporting duties in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability: Embraces change, remains flexible under shifting priorities, and consistently seeks to improve processes.

 

Pay Range:

$78,375-$130,625/year
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
