Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer

Position Overview:

  • This position requires multidiscipline knowledge in all areas related to engineering including systems design, hardware, software, and integration and test.
  • The candidate will be reliable, resourceful, work accurately and independently with an ability to anticipate, initiate, and follow through with all responsibilities.
  • Diplomatically interface with all levels of management, employees, internal and external customers, and vendors 
  • Understanding of systems engineering requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Sr. Principal Systems Engineer: 9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline; 7 years of relevant experience with a Masters' degree; 4 years of relevant experience with a PhD; or 13 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • System Engineering experience.
  • Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). 
  • Requirements Management.
  • System Level Requirement definition.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Willow Program Experience.
  • FTL Program Graduate.

Salary Range: $133,000.00 - $199,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date. However, this timeline may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.
