This position will provide expertise and knowledge around eQube reporting and integration solutions for the Digital Thread organization using our eQube PaaS capabilities. This position will work closely with other solution architects to support the organization’s vision and strategic direction, and enterprise Program customers to oversee their essential technical solutions.

Primary responsibilities are associated with eQube reporting (BI) and integration (MI) activities. They will be required to provide recommendations for best practices, define and validate customer requests, review technical documentation, coordinate work groups, and support product demonstrations/trainings. Additional responsibilities are as follows:

  • Document business processes and analyze procedures to ensure that they meet changing business needs and offer recommendations for improvement.
  • Accurately utilize strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills to drive improved testing, monitoring, and operational productivity from both a development and App Admin perspective.
    • Analyze the scope & design the test cases.
    • Interact with business partners to understand requirements and verify system requirements for our reporting and integration solutions.
    • Support the integrated testing among various business products.
  • Engaged in the architecting, planning, and knowledge sharing of eQube BI/MI solution customizations and upgrades.
  • Support the mentoring, training, or demos to end users, as required.
  • Support business readiness and change management activities through go-live and production implementations.
  • Involved in planning of system and development deployments.
  • Evaluates interfaces between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system.
  • This role is 100% virtual. Employees will need to reside near a major Northrop Grumman Facility (Redondo Beach, CA, San Diego, CA, Melbourne, FL, Roy, UT and Baltimore, MD) and be able to support onsite work on an as needed basis.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related fields with at least 9 years of relevant experience OR a Master's Degree with 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Work and lead effectively within teams where other team members may be located throughout the country.
  • Knowledge in Java, JBoss, Oracle, and SQL.
  • Proficient understanding of Software Lifecycle Process.
  • Excellent managerial, networking, presentation, written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to support multiple projects concurrently based on priority and criticality.
  • Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher.
  • Self-starter with the ability to independently resolve issues and deliver results.
  • Experience with eQube reporting and integration development activities.
  • Proficiency with Engineering and Manufacturing processes and applications.

Salary Range: $121,000.00 - $181,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
