About the Role:

Join our team at Hims and Hers Health, Inc. (Hims & Hers) as a Senior Network Engineer. We're a leading telehealth platform focused on delivering accessible, high-quality care. As a member of the Infrastructure Engineering team, you’ll be responsible for designing and maintaining secure, scalable network systems supporting our hybrid and cloud environments. Your work ensures seamless connectivity for our remote teams, healthcare professionals, and internal operations.

You’re a seasoned engineer with strong ownership, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for solving complex problems. You will work with autonomy, proactively identifying and resolving technical risks while contributing to architectural decisions. Participate in fact finding for multiple teams in new projects, drive operational improvements, and help elevate the team’s engineering quality and delivery.

You Will:
  • Design and maintain scalable network architecture across Cisco, Palo Alto, OpenGear, and Cloud environments, focusing on AWS.

  • Develop ZTNA and NAC solutions, expanding SD-WAN Secure Fabric Hub & Spoke architectures

  • Maintain legacy IPSec site-to-site for mission-critical third-party services

  • Monitor and troubleshoot network systems using DataDog; define KPIs and SLOs for uptime and performance.

  • Develop, maintain, and execute disaster recovery and backup plans.

  • Perform regular network audits and ensure compliance with security and operational policies.

  • Partner with security and governance teams to evaluate and implement hardening strategies across infrastructure.

  • Document SOPs, implementation guides, and internal standards to improve maintainability and reduce risk.

  • Participate in Change Management processes and on-call support rotations.

  • Mentor peers and foster a culture of knowledge sharing, quality, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Drive improvements in network tooling, observability, and operational workflows.

You Have:
  • 8+ years of experience in network engineering roles.

  • Expert-level knowledge of Cisco switching & wireless, Palo Alto's Strata services, and OpenGear technologies.

  • Experience in hybrid cloud and AWS networking environments.

  • Strong Experience with scripting, automation, and IaaC (e.g., Python, Ansible).

  • Strong understanding of network and security best practices in accordance with PCI, SOX, and NIST, among other regulations..

  • Proficiency with network design tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, PCNSE, AWS Solutions Architect) preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.

  • Up to 25% travel may be required within the United States.
