JOB PURPOSE

Drives the design of integrated technology infrastructure systems to support the enterprise's business needs. Implementing infrastructure solutions and developing systems and automations to optimize business outcomes; Develops awareness of the dependencies and implications of key network engineering decisions. Coordinates initiatives with moderate complexity within assigned value stream. Learns to lead teams.

TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deep understanding and hands on experience with Azure cloud networking principles and tools.

  • Troubleshoot complex network issue and provide Tier 3 support.

  • Manage routing, switching and firewall technologies. (Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki, F5)

  • In-depth knowledge of routing protocols. (BGP,EIGRP)

  • Familiar with VPN technologies and remote access solutions.

  • Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds and Netbox.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Enterprise Infrastructure Modernization

Deliver digital solution architecture services as assigned, preparing conceptual and logical architecture diagrams to align technical direction and document future state architectures.

Technical Developments Recommendation

Research and suggest ways to optimize solutions to better meet user and/or business, performance, quality needs

Testing Technology Performance

Drive the design and execution of website/applications software tests and respond to user emails to monitor, diagnose, and correct performance issues

Infrastructure and Network Development and Maintenance

Design and select storage, data center, network, and client/server environments to design solutions in line with industry best practice and provide a third-line point of escalation for appropriate global infrastructure solutions.

Design and Conceptualization

Produce multiple concepts and prototypes to design digital products/services

Information Security

Implement and test required security measures such as firewalls or message encryption, monitoring performance to notify security experts of any problems. Drive security network configuration and support audits.

Functional/Technical Requirements

Support the collection of functional requirements using document analysis and workflow analysis to express the requirements in terms of target user roles and goals.

Ongoing Learning and Development

Develop own and more junior team member capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and information training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.

Managerial Experience

Basic experience of coordinating the work of others (4 to 6 months)

Targeted Pay Range: $83,000.00 - $138,200.00. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as: incentive, equity and benefits. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
