JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sr. .NET Engineer to join our dynamic development team. The Sr. .NET Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that meet the needs of our clients and enhance our product offerings. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, has strong problem-solving skills, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

  • Software Development:
    • Design, develop, and implement software applications according to specifications and requirements.
    • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in languages such as C#, JavaScript and SQL.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Code Review and Testing:
    • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
    • Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and other automated tests to ensure software quality.
    • Debug and resolve software defects and issues reported by users or discovered through testing.
  • System Design and Architecture:
    • Participate in the design and architecture of software systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
    • Contribute to the development of technical specifications and architectural decisions.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, user manuals, and API documentation.
    • Provide regular updates on project status, including progress, challenges, and risks.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
    • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the continuous enhancement of development practices and methodologies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven 5+ years of experience as a .NET Engineer or similar role.
  • Highly Proficiency in C# and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  • Experience with front-end development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Experience with Blazor and Razor.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding and exposure to OWASP and best practices relating to security.

Regular eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity is required to operate office equipment. The ability to perform work at a computer terminal for 6-8 hours a day and function in an environment with constant interruptions is required. At times, Team Members are subject to sitting for prolonged periods. Infrequently, Team Member must be able to lift and move material weighing up to 20 lbs. Team Member may experience elevated levels of stress during periods of increased activity and with work entailing multiple deadlines.
