As the Sr. Marketing Manager, Respiratory, you will play a key role in advancing Cepheid’s respiratory portfolio across the U.S. region by leading high‑impact marketing execution and supporting commercial growth initiatives.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Marketing Manager of Respiratory Diseases to lead product marketing execution for assigned segments of the portfolio in the U.S. This role is responsible for executing marketing strategies that support growth, innovation, and customer engagement across the region.
As a senior individual contributor supporting the respiratory diseases portfolio, you will lead the development and execution of go‑to‑market plans, product launches, and demand generation campaigns. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including Global Product Management, Sales, Medical Affairs, and R&D, to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned to market needs and deliver value to customers. As a disease‑area expert, you will work cross‑functionally to support portfolio differentiation, develop clear value stories, and engage key stakeholders—from laboratory leaders to clinical decision‑makers.
This position is part of the Customer Activation and Americas Marketing organization and focuses on positioning, messaging, demand generation, campaign execution, and market development for Cepheid’s core infectious diseases products.
This position reports to the Sr. Director of US Marketing and will be fully remote.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Lead execution of integrated U.S. marketing plans for assigned Respiratory segments, aligned to portfolio strategy and business objectives.
Serve as the marketing subject matter expert for designated disease areas, providing input into positioning, messaging, and customer engagement.
Lead regional product launches, coordinating cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure launch readiness, value articulation, and execution excellence.
Develop and execute demand generation initiatives across digital and traditional channels to drive awareness, adoption, and growth.
Partner with Sales, Medical Affairs, and Global Marketing to deliver effective field enablement tools, training, and customer‑facing content.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant professional experience, or Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant professional experience.
Experience leading product marketing, portfolio marketing, or go‑to‑market initiatives within regulated healthcare, diagnostics, medical devices, or life sciences.
Demonstrated experience leading cross‑functional projects and product launches in a matrixed organization.
Experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (e.g., digital, field, events).
Experience analyzing market, customer, or competitive insights to inform marketing strategy and execution.
Travel Requirements:
Ability to travel up to 40%, including occasional overnight travel, as business needs require.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Respiratory disease diagnostics, testing, or molecular diagnostics
U.S. healthcare market dynamics
Sales enablement platforms, CRM tools, or marketing performance analytics.

The annual salary range for this role is $103,500-$150,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
