What You Will Do
- Owns near-term product vision and strategy (1-2 years) for a large/complex portfolio, leading cross-functional execution, journey mapping, and trade-off decisions while influencing internal teams and external partners.
- Builds and drives cross-functional roadmaps to deliver user value, ensures alignment across domains, and sets the benchmark for designing usable, viable, and feasible products.
- Demonstrates deep customer/user expertise across products, improves efficiencies through partnerships, experiments for adoption, and identifies unmet opportunities through research and experimentation.
- Establishes product operating routines, defines and tracks OKRs, develops product health metrics, and leverages data-driven insights to align stakeholders, measure success, and drive product adoption.
- Leads and coaches teams to deliver on expectations, fosters an inclusive environment, manages performance, and ensures continuous improvement across the product group.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree) and 8 years of experience in two or more of the following: project management, product management, business analysis, program management, experimentation, or product marketing or equivalent experience
- 4 years of experience in product and/or experience management with experience partnering with technology and user experience teams in translating business strategy into prioritized specific product features and requirements
- 3 years of experience in an agile software environment with demonstrated delivery of business results
- Experience leading project or technical teams with or without formal direct report responsibility; this includes experience providing technical direction, thought leadership, coaching and mentoring to team members
- Demonstrated proficiency in product marketing with experience working cross-functionally in a large organization with senior leadership
Preferred Skills/Education
- Master's degree in business administration or similar advanced degree or equivalent experience
- 2 years of experience leading the digital product roadmap
- 2 years of prior leadership experience with direct report responsibility in a top 25 omni-channel retailer, managing operational and/or project financial budgets
- Strong financial acumen
- Retail experience and techno-functional acumen
- Certified Scrum Product Owner
