Senior Marketing Manager - Amazon
SharkNinja is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to elevate our Amazon presence across driving measurable demand through best-in-class paid media, and building a best-in-class on-site experience through compelling content, strong SEO fundamentals, and a customer-first user experience. This role sits at the intersection of performance marketing and organic discoverability, and success requires deep ownership of both.
You will partner cross-functionally with Brand, Creative, Demand Gen, Sales, and Analytics teams to ensure SharkNinja's Amazon catalog is not only visible, but converting - through a cohesive strategy that spans paid media, organic search, and the full content experience customers encounter on every listing.
Strategy & Planning
  • Lead Amazon marketing planning across both paid demand generation (Sponsored Ads, DSP, social, video) and organic/content channels (SEO, A+ Content, Brand Store), ensuring both workstreams are aligned to campaign objectives and commercial goals.
  • Develop integrated go-to-market plans that sequence paid investment with on-site content readiness - ensuring listings are optimized before and during high-investment periods.
  • Own the keyword and search strategy across both paid (Sponsored Products/Brands) and organic ranking, bridging the two to maximize total share of voice.
  • Partner with agency and platform representatives to stay ahead of Amazon's evolving algorithm, ranking signals, and content formats (A+, Premium A+, Brand Story, video PDPs).
  • Contribute to category-level SEO strategies informed by search trend data, competitive share of voice, and consumer behavior insights.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous testing, and cross-functional collaboration.

Demand Generation & Paid Media
  • Own strategy and execution of Amazon paid media including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, DSP, and streaming/video ad formats.
  • Continuously optimize campaign performance through data-driven decisions, bid management, audience segmentation, and dayparting strategies.
  • Manage significant paid media budgets with accountability for ROAS, new-to-brand acquisition, and incremental revenue targets.
  • Leverage Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC), Amazon Marketing Stream, and third-party platforms (Skai, Pacvue) to surface insights and improve efficiency.
  • React quickly to in-market signals, inventory availability, promotional events, and competitive shifts to maximize impact of every media dollar.
  • Explore off-Amazon demand channels (social, programmatic, retail media) to drive traffic and reinforce on-platform performance.

On-Site Content, SEO & User Experience
  • Lead the on-site content strategy across the SharkNinja Amazon catalog, including product titles, bullet points, descriptions, A+ Content, Brand Stores, and video assets.
  • Develop and maintain a rigorous SEO framework: keyword research, indexing audits, search term optimization, and backend metadata management across a large and complex SKU catalog.
  • Partner with Creative and Brand teams to ensure content is both search-optimized and brand-consistent, delivering a compelling customer experience that drives conversion.
  • Conduct regular PDP audits to identify content gaps, UX improvement opportunities, and listing quality issues that may be suppressing organic rank or conversion.
  • Use A/B testing and Amazon's Manage Your Experiments tool to continuously improve content performance across titles, imagery, A+, and more.
  • Monitor customer reviews, questions, and search query reports to feed insights back into content and keyword strategy.
  • Stay current on Amazon content policies, algorithm updates, and new content formats to ensure the catalog reflects best-in-class standards.

Analysis & Measurement
  • Define and track KPIs that span both paid and organic performance: ROAS, new-to-brand rate, organic rank, conversion rate, content score, and Share of Voice.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Analytics and E-commerce teams to connect media investment and content quality to downstream sales impact.
  • Ensure Marketing Mix Model (MMM) inputs reflect the full Amazon investment picture, including organic and content-driven outcomes.
  • Surface insights and recommendations to senior leadership in clear, action-oriented reporting.

Desired Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of Amazon marketing experience with demonstrated ownership of both demand generation AND on-site content/SEO - candidates with expertise in only one area will not be considered.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Amazon Ads (Sponsored Ads, DSP) and deep familiarity with Amazon's organic ranking algorithm, search indexing, and content quality standards.
  • Proven track record managing large budgets and complex item catalogs within the consumer goods or CPG space.
  • Strong SEO acumen: keyword research, search term optimization, PDP auditing, and content performance analysis specific to Amazon (not just Google/web SEO).
  • Experience with Amazon content tools: Seller Central / Vendor Central content management, A+ Content, Premium A+, Brand Store, and Manage Your Experiments.
  • Proficiency with third-party platforms such as Skai, Pacvue, or similar for campaign management and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC), Amazon Marketing Stream, and data clean room technologies.
  • Experience with non-Amazon retail media and digital channels (search, programmatic, social) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources into strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior leadership.
  • 4-year degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
