The Sr. Manager, NA Finance – Dewatering Division will serve as a strategic finance leader and business partner to the North America Dewatering Leadership Team, overseeing a $500M revenue business. This role is responsible for driving financial performance, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance, and providing actionable insights to support growth and operational excellence.
You will lead FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and KPI development, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and metrics-driven decision-making. In addition, you will play a key role in productivity initiatives, M&A financial due diligence, and integration efforts.
This position requires a proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, influence senior leadership, and develop high-performing finance talent.
This role will be a hybrid, based out of our Charlotte, NC office.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Drive value creation initiatives for organic growth and margin expansion
Operational and FP&A Finance Ownership – actuals, forecast, variance analysis
Strong understanding of KPIs and develop strategy to drive performance
Serve as Lead for NA Monthly Operating Reviews to division leadership team
Strong business and functional support to NA Dewatering Leadership Team
Instill a continuous improvement mind set and culture of metrics-driven decision making
Focus decision-making on activities driving the highest profitable growth, cash flow generation and return on capital
Productivity: support / validate productivity savings with/from procurement and continuous improvement departments
Supports execution of the inorganic strategy and assists in financial due diligence for M&A targets, as well as subsequent integration of acquired companies
Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Finance, Accounting, Business Management; or equivalent experience is required.
8+ years of experience in Finance, or related field
Deep financial analysis experience in operational contexts (e.g., efficiency, footprint optimization, etc.)
A proven track record of results including earnings growth, working capital reduction, cost control and operational productivity
Experience in an industrial service-oriented business, including experience with highly transactional businesses
Experience in presenting to senior-level executives in a results-oriented culture
Effectively working in a matrixed environment
Ability to attract, recruit and develop world-class financial talent
ERP Experience a plus including: OneStream, SAP, Oracle, PowerBI, Tableau

Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range. The estimated range for this role is $140,000 to $150,000 plus bonus potential.
