The Finance Manager, reporting to the Senior Director of Finance for Sports Studio Production & Facilities, will play a key role in supporting the financial management of NBC Sports' Stamford facility and related functions, including Olympics & Sports Engineering, Olympic & Sports Production Operations, Technical Logistics, and IT. The Finance Manager will lead headcount oversight of the Sports O&T group as well as be a key partner with the O&T FP&A team. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain exposure to O&T leadership alongside Sports partners.
This position offers a unique opportunity to gain broad exposure to NBC Sports' operational leadership and contribute to high-impact initiatives. Here You Will:
- Lead and develop a Financial Analyst, providing oversight, guidance, and performance management
- Manage headcount planning and consolidation for the Sports O&T group, including monthly tracking and forecasting aligned to business strategy and financial targets
- Serve as a key partner to the O&T FP&A team across pacing, close, and estimate cycles
- Manage reporting and deliverables for Versant TSA agreement requirements
- Support the monthly financial close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with reporting standards
- Own pacing and estimate processes for Sports facility budgets, across both OPEX and CAPEX
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with key operators across the Sports O&T group to understand business drivers and inform decision-making
- Collaborate with the Controllership team on close-related activities and initiatives
- Contribute to ad hoc analyses and cross-functional projects as needed
Qualifications
Here You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- 3+ years of experience in Finance and Accounting
- Highly skilled in PowerPoint and Excel
