The Impact of a Sr. Manager, Demand Generation at Coupa:

Coupa is actively seeking a Senior Manager, Demand Generation to join our Integrated Marketing team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Integrated Marketing, this leadership role is essential for achieving Coupa’s pipeline and revenue objectives by driving scalable and innovative demand generation programs across North America

What You'll Do:

  • Strategy & Execution
  • Design and execute high-impact demand generation strategies across a diverse channel mix, including email marketing, digital marketing, webinars/virtual events, content syndication, and strategic 3rd-party partnerships.
  • Bring new and innovative ideas to the table to test, measure, and learn from, constantly seeking new channels and approaches to maximize lead quality and velocity.
  • Scale demand generation programs effectively to maximize reach and optimize return on investment (ROI) as the business grows.
  • Personally own the demand generation strategy for two key marketing campaigns, partnering closely with Integrated Marketing to ensure successful, unified execution and goal achievement.
  • Drive the generation of high-quality leads and partner closely with Sales Development and Marketing Operations to ensure seamless lead flow and conversion into qualified pipeline for new logo acquisition.
  • Implement advanced lead nurturing programs that effectively guide prospects through the marketing and sales funnel, accelerating conversion from awareness to purchase.
  • People Management
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of two direct reports, providing clear guidance on project execution, performance management, and career progression. Establish team priorities, delegate tasks effectively, and ensure alignment of team efforts with broader marketing and sales goals.
  • Provide strategic oversight and directional guidance to direct reports, ensuring the successful design, execution, and optimization of their respective demand generation campaigns to meet collective campaign objectives.
  • Proven track record of managing, mentoring, and coaching direct reports in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytics & Optimization
  • Utilize data and analytics tools to measure program effectiveness, accurately track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and provide consistent, actionable reporting to executive stakeholders.
  • Monitor funnel metrics and identify levers for generating qualified leads and accelerating pipeline velocity.
  • Integrate and leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) tools to significantly scale demand generation execution and drive team efficiency and output.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Collaborate extensively with Product Segment Marketing, Content, and Customer Marketing teams to ensure successful, unified execution of all demand generation programs.

What You Will Bring to Coupa:

  • 8+ years of B2B enterprise software experience in a growth marketing or demand generation capacity.
  • Extensive experience with funnel metrics and demonstrated success in moving the needle on critical pipeline goals.
  • Strong data-centric focus and expertise with core MarTech platforms: Salesforce.com, Marketo, 6sense/Demandbase proficiency are required.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (Tableau preferred) and Sales Engagement platforms (e.g., Outreach, ZoomInfo) is a plus.
  • Experience marketing to Procurement, Finance, IT, or Supply Chain personas is highly preferred.
  • Strong sense of accountability and proactive mindset, taking full ownership of results and anticipating future needs.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple complex programs and priorities simultaneously.
  • A resourceful, self-motivated leader with a growth mindset and the ability to adapt to evolving business needs.

The estimated pay range for this role is $128,000 - $166,500.

The starting salary for the successful candidate will be based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
