About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and strategic Sr. Manager of Community Marketing to shape the future of our member experience at Hims & Hers. Reporting to the Director of Community Marketing, this role sits at the heart of our customer engagement efforts, focused on building meaningful relationships, hosting community events, and managing touchpoints that foster long-term trust, satisfaction, and brand affinity.

This is a temporary, non-permanent position. The Sr. Manager of Community Marketing will provide temporary backfill support to the Marketing team from approximately 9/1/2025 to 1/31/2026. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a high-growth company and leader in the health and wellness industry.

As the Sr. Manager of Community Marketing, you will help oversee the experience of our customers participating in community programs, both digitally and in person. You’ll partner closely with Customer Care, Customer Experience, Marketing, Content, and Communications teams to build scalable community programs, create assets for community-driven content, and serve as the connective tissue between our customers and the Hims & Hers brand.

You Will:
  • Define and execute a comprehensive engagement and growth strategy for the Hims and Hers Health Collective that aligns with business goals and customer needs.

  • Use data and insights to drive decision-making, improve program performance, and identify new opportunities for engagement.

  • Recruit, onboard, and support selected community members to foster participation, advocacy, and collaboration in marketing and brand initiatives.

  • Manage our community platform and forums, create engaging activities, and ensure a positive member experience.

  • Develop and manage a strategic content calendar that drives engagement, strengthens community sentiment, and aligns with key brand initiatives.

  • Lead community listening by identifying trends, tracking sentiment, and sharing actionable insights across teams.

  • Operate independently and plan strategically, managing your own roadmap with minimal oversight.

  • Implement and analyze community health metrics (retention, satisfaction, engagement, participation rates, etc.) and use insights to improve programs.

  • Design and manage a year-round event program (virtual and in-person) including expert AMAs, product Q&As, health education sessions, and community panels.

  • Lead the creation of quarterly newsletters to highlight company updates, celebrate community milestones, and drive ongoing engagement.

  • Develop ambassador or “super user” programs that empower our most passionate customers to become advocates and feedback loops.

  • Represent the voice of the customer internally by surfacing trends, sentiment, and ideas across channels.

  • Collaborate with Social, Marketing, and Communications teams to bridge community programs with broader marketing efforts.

You Have:
  • 8+ years experience in customer marketing, brand community building, or customer experience programs

  • A strong portfolio of community engagement programs, including content, programming, and communications, at high-growth DTC brands, health platforms, or wellness startups

  • Experience running community programs such as member council, ambassador, or influencer programs

  • A customer-first mindset with a bias toward helpfulness, empathy, and education

  • Experience leading or hosting virtual and in-person events series, creating programming for digital or hybrid audiences

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, especially when addressing sensitive health or wellness topics

  • Excellent project management skills and cross-functional collaboration experience

  • Ability to think both strategically and operationally (zooming in on content and zooming out on scale)

  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

  • Comfortable balancing numerous priorities and demands

We are committed to building a workforce that reflects diverse perspectives and prioritizes ethics, wellness, and a strong sense of belonging. If you're excited about this role, we encourage you to apply—even if you're not sure if your background or experience is a perfect match.
