About the role

Concept Plus is seeking a Senior Linux Specialist to assist in deployment of Oracle EBS to a client system in need.

What you'll do

• Document and Troubleshooting Knowledge Transfer in Linux.
• Log and Audit in Linux.
• Automate Linux and other application related processes with Jenkins, and Ansible Core.
• Provide scripting and automation for Linux administration for automation.
• Manually find and resolve Linux issues.
• Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
• Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
• Confer with others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
• Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements.

Qualifications

• US Citizen
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a secret goverment clearance.
• 3+ years’ experience implementing and troubleshooting Linux in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with a CI/CD platform, such as Ansible Core, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar technologies.
• Strong knowledge in Linux patching with DNF and YUM Experience with ansible and Jenkins a must.
• Experience working in a secure environment.
• Strong knowledge of DNS/Networking and networking debugging with packet capture.
• Strong scripting in most of these: Python, Bash, Zsh, Ksh, Csh.
• Strong configuration management knowledge and experience.
• Experience in an OCI environment on virtual images.
• Ability to provide accurate and realistic effort estimates, commit and deliver accordingly.
• Ability to work productively in a team environment and participate as a positive and cooperative team member.
• Strong experience with Linux Strong verbal, written, organizational and documentation skills.
• CompTIA Security+ Certification and/or 8570 Level II Certification Required
