As a Sr IT Project Mgmt Specialist here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will lead and mentor a team of IT project managers and specialists, shaping the strategic direction and effective execution of our technology projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to project management methodologies and best practices
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, and track project progress
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate and allocate resources, including internal team members and external vendors, to ensure project success
  • Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders and senior management
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations
  • Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and practices
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management, including at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a high-performing team.
  • Proven success in delivering complex IT projects, meeting quality, budget, and timeline expectations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as PMP, ScrumMaster, or similar.
  • Demonstrated success in driving digital transformation and strategic IT initiatives.
  • Strong project portfolio management skills.
