As a Sr IT Project Management Specialist here at Honeywell, you will collaborate with and support IT project managers. You will work as part of project management office delivering projects that meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations.


You will report directly to our Sr Director of IT, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona or Charlotte, North Carolina location. The first 90 days will be onsite before transitioning to a hybrid, 3/2 schedule.


In this role, you will impact the organization by ensuring the successful execution of our technology initiatives. By supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects, you will be instrumental in helping us achieve our long-term goals.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Partner with the business stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of the business processes and priorities pertinent to the Project Planning and scoping activity.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define and execute IT project strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring they drive innovation and operational efficiency.
  • Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations.

Travel, between 10 - 20%, may be expected.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE:


  • 5 plus years of experience in IT project management.
  • Experience in contributing to SAP S4 HANA implementation or other ERP or IT projects
  • Proven success in delivering complex IT projects, meeting quality, budget, and timeline expectations.
  • Knowledge of PMO governance frameworks, standards, and best practices.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Domain knowledge and business process expertise in large diversified multinational companies
  • Experience with MS Office (especially advance level in Excel), MS Project, PPT etc.

  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and tools.
  • Ability to process large quantities of data and generate stakeholders-oriented outputs and presentations.
