Sr. Manager, Digital Technology Vendor Management

Rooted in a passion to innovate and a determination to challenge conventional thought, our Sr. Manager, Digital Technology Vendor Management is a driving force in our digital technology group. Embracing an internal consultant approach, this hands-on IT leader champions a practice focused on vendor collaboration, performance management and global contracting, advantageously negotiating favorable contract rates. Aligned with the Oshkosh digital technology organization, this role will help to execute a shared vision to enhance and mature vendor and asset management practices across our business segment units.  This is a role that must operate with a great deal of independence, building and negotiating clear action plans and executing them effectively.

YOUR IMPACT:

  • Develop control processes to monitor accountability identification, maintenance, location and contracts.
  • Educate team members about the business policies and support internal audit requirements including coordaining, measuring and reporting on the technical aspects of DT management.
  • Provide support and services to projects upgrading or implementing new software and hardware assets to ensure proper planning and lifecycle management.
  • Build and execute plans to drive proactive contractual processes that achieve cost savings for Oshkosh Corporation.
  • Work with a wide variety of technology and business executives to understand direction and identify opportunities for strategic optimization and process improvement, driving alignment in a decentralized and segmented business environment.
  • Serve as a key player in Digital Technology budget planning, spend management, and cost savings tracking.
  • Manage and administer the technology leasing program.
  • Develop strategic vendor relationships
  • Review and negotiate vendor contracts
  • Manage audits of software license compliance

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business administration, supply chain; and eight (8) years of experience managing technology and service vendors in a global organization.
  • Five (5) years of experience in an internal or external consultancy role.
  • Five (5) years of experience with Vendor Management Systems (VMS).

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Masters in information systems, management or equivalent
  • Supply chain-related certification, such as:
    • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) from the Institute of Supply Management (ISM)
    • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM)
    • Certified Supply Chain Manager (CSCM) from the International Supply Chain Education Alliance (ISCEA)

Pay Range:

$117,000.00 - $202,400.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
