Honeywell Aerospace & Defense is seeking an experienced IT Senior Manager – Data Enablement & Analytics to lead enterprise data strategy, governance, analytics platform enablement, and advanced insights across mission-critical and highly regulated environments.

This leader will drive data modernization initiatives across ERP, manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and customer platforms, ensuring secure, compliant, and scalable analytics capabilities. The role will enable business transformation by improving data quality, harmonization, reporting accuracy, predictive analytics, and AI readiness.

The ideal candidate combines enterprise data architecture experience with a strong understanding of Aerospace & Defense regulatory requirements and operational complexity.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute A&D data enablement strategy aligned to business objectives.
  • Establish enterprise data governance frameworks across:
    • Finance
    • Supply Chain
    • Manufacturing / OT
    • Engineering
    • Customer & Program Management
  • Lead master data harmonization efforts across SAP and integrated systems.
  • Implement data quality standards, controls, and stewardship models.

Analytics & Platform Enablement

  • Oversee enterprise analytics platforms including:
    • SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics
    • Enterprise data lakes / cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure)
    • BI & visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud)
  • Drive scalable reporting frameworks and KPI standardization.
  • Enable predictive analytics and AI/ML use cases in supply chain, pricing, program management, and operational performance.
  • Ensure secure API and data integration architecture.

Regulatory & Security Compliance

  • Ensure analytics and data platforms comply with:
    • ITAR / EAR export controls
    • NIST 800-53 / 800-171
    • CMMC requirements
    • SOX controls for financial data
  • Partner with Cybersecurity to enforce data protection and role-based access controls.
  • Implement data classification and secure data-sharing frameworks.

Digital Transformation & ERP Enablement

  • Support large-scale ERP modernization initiatives (e.g., SAP S/4HANA).
  • Lead data migration and transformation workstreams.
  • Improve enterprise reporting integrity and financial close accuracy.
  • Enable real-time visibility into supply chain performance and operational metrics.

Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Lead a team of data engineers, analytics developers, and data governance analysts.
  • Establish performance metrics for data quality and reporting effectiveness.
  • Partner with executive leadership to define enterprise dashboards.
  • Influence strategic decision-making through data-driven insights.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in data, analytics, or data governance leadership.
  • Strong experience in:
    • Enterprise data platforms (cloud data lakes, warehouses)
    • SAP S/4HANA data structures
    • BI & analytics tools
  • Experience implementing data governance frameworks.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements within Aerospace & Defense.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership experience in matrixed environments.

WE VALUE

  • Experience supporting Aerospace & Defense or government-contracted programs.
  • Familiarity with:
    • SAP MDG
    • Data mesh or domain-driven data models
    • AI/ML operationalization
  • Experience with secure cloud environments (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government).
  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, or Business.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.
