Vitera is backed by strategic investors including Apollo Global Management and Athene, and works closely with Apollo’s distribution and investment platforms to deliver innovative guaranteed income solutions to the defined contribution market. Over time, this role will also support Apollo’s Private Markets initiatives within the retirement space, deepening integration across investment capabilities.

Accountabilities:

The Internal Sales Associate will play a pivotal role in supporting Vitera’s defined contribution efforts while also growing into a broader responsibility set that includes collaboration with Apollo’s Private Markets team. This is an ideal position for a motivated, service-oriented sales professional looking to build deep expertise in innovative retirement income and alternative investment solutions.Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a key point of contact for recordkeeping partners, providing proactive support across platforms offering Vitera solutions.
  • Conduct video and phone-based outreach to retirement advisors, consultants, and sales teams to promote education and drive engagement.
  • Uncover leads, schedule meetings, and assist in managing sales opportunities and pipeline activity.
  • Partner with external sales to support strategic growth in defined contribution plans.
  • Deliver clear and technical product education on Vitera’s offerings and the broader DC landscape.
  • Manage territory data using Salesforce or other CRM systems, ensuring up-to-date tracking and reporting.
  • Support webinars, virtual campaigns, and events to elevate Vitera’s brand and value proposition.
  • Uphold compliance and operational standards, including licensing, documentation, and control protocols.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • 4+ years of financial services experience, ideally in DCIO, annuities, or defined contribution.
  • Series 6 or 7 and state insurance license (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
  • Demonstrated success in sales support, internal wholesaling, or advisor relationship roles.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex solutions clearly.
  • Strong organizational and CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred).
  • Self-starter with a team-oriented mindset and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
$110,00.00 - $160,000.00 USD AnnualAnnual Salary for this role is market competitive. Actual salary for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Depending on the role, a discretionary bonus plan or variable sales incentive may be included.
