Job PurposeThe Senior Internal Account Manager's responsibility is to partner with Key Account Managers (KAMs) and manage existing relationships with broker/dealer firms. This individual will also be the primary contact for broker/dealer firms related to administrative problem solving, product information, and specific contract information. The Senior Internal Account Manager's primary responsibility is to drive revenue to Jackson by providing excellent service to our key strategic partners and sales force. Senior Internal Account Managers will take on additional responsibility in leading meetings and representing Jackson at external events. A Senior Internal Account Manager possesses a well-rounded experience of relationship management and account coverage and is able to work independently with less oversight from the KAM.Essential Responsibilities- Acts as a liaison between broker/dealer firm and Jackson sales team.
- Interacts with KAMs on processing/updating selling agreements, internal/external sales communication, etc. and disseminating updated information to appropriate Jackson personnel.
- Disseminates monthly account management reports for firm.
- Prepares presentations and briefings for accounts and senior management.
- Handles inbound calls from back offices and other Jackson departments.
- Works with appropriate Jackson departments such as Operations, Marketing, and Sales Leadership to coordinate and execute on all Strategic Relationships sales initiatives.
- Coordinates marketing campaigns for tiered firms
- Responsible for keeping the CRM system updated with accurate firm product & contract availability.
- Manages on-going administrative processes and ensure timely update to the field for the firms the cover, including suitability certification follow up, routing Non-Tiered Sponsorship requests, facilitating new BD Profiling post-onboarding, pursues firm advisory approval and onboarding, manages special commission schedule requests, and facilitates Deal Direct termination requests.
- Coordinates sales training with broker/dealer firms (training, conference calls, virtual meetings, etc.) and Jackson Internal Sales Desks. Documents and communicates results to key Jackson departments.
- Responsible for spearheading and hosting at least one firm training a year.
- Plans and coordinates a Jackson presence at regional and national firm conferences and attend where appropriate.
- Organizes strategic partner meetings planned and hosted by Strategic Relationships.
- Uncovers opportunities to increase effectiveness of the relationship, increases Jackson distribution, elevates penetration within broker/dealer firm, and provides value-added presentations and or speakers for broker/dealer firm events.
- Travels to partner events as needed as lead Jackson representative; with a requirement of travel at least twice a year.
- Liaison between wholesaling teams and Strategic Relationships. Acts as a subject matter expert for a specific channel.
- Performs other duties and/or projects as assigned.

- Knowledge of annuity product lines & ecosystem.
- Understands investment products such as mutual funds, annuities, and insurance.
- Strong working knowledge of advisor planning tools and software.
- Ability to travel to meet business needs.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
- 3+ years financial services industry or sales experience required.
- 1+ years Key Accounts/National Accounts experience preferred.
- Financial Service Sales experience preferred.
- FINRA SIE, FINRA Series 6 or 7, 63 and life insurance required.
