Sr. Integrations Solutions Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Integration Solutions Engineer to architect and deliver next-generation automation and AI-driven integrations across Pendo’s enterprise ecosystem. This role blends traditional iPaaS expertise with emerging agentic AI automation, leveraging tools like Workato Agentic Studio, Zapier, Gemini, ChatGPT, and other low-code/no-code and LLM-based platforms to create intelligent, scalable, workflows that accelerate business outcomes.

• Design, implement, and maintain intelligent integrations between Pendo and enterprise SaaS platforms using iPaaS and AI automation platforms (Workato preferred, including Workato Agentic Studio, Zapier, n8n, or similar).
• Build and orchestrate AI-powered automations that use Gemini, ChatGPT, Workato Agents, and/or APIs to enrich data, generate insights, and enhance workflow decision-making.
• Partner with internal business units to lead discovery and design sessions, identifying automation opportunities and assessing integration scope, feasibility, and ROI.
• Prototype and deploy LLM-powered solutions, including contextual chatbots, document summarization agents, and automated data quality checks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration or AI automation issues using diagnostic tools such as curl, Postman, API logs, and platform-specific monitors.
• Ensure secure and compliant authentication flows (OAuth, tokens, client credentials) across all systems.
• Proactively monitor integration performance, reliability, and model accuracy, applying observability best practices.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration and automation designs, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for IT and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration and AI governance, including standards, templates, and reusable components.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with iPaaS platforms (Workato strongly preferred; Tray.io, Zapier, n8n, or similar acceptable).
  Experience with Workato Agentic Studio or comparable AI automation tools integrating LLMs into workflows.
• Familiarity with ChatGPT, OpenAI API, and prompt engineering principles for task automation and data enrichment.
• Strong technical background with experience in APIs, web protocols (HTTP/HTTPS), and data formats (JSON, XML).
  Solid understanding of authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, API tokens, client credentials).
  Proficiency with diagnostic and monitoring tools (curl, Postman, API logs, or equivalent).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; able to bridge business needs with technical execution.
• Strong documentation and communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Collaborative mindset with a passion for process automation and AI innovation across business units.

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.

North Carolina, NC $115,000 - $125,000

New York, NY $125,000 - $135,000

Remote (EST) $115,000 - $125,000

Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
