About this role:
The Technology for the Chief Operating Office (TCOO) group provides technology services for the Chief Operating Office. This includes operations, control executives, strategic execution, business continuity and resiliency, data solutions and services, regulatory relations, customer experience, enterprise shared services, supply chain management, and the corporate properties group. TCOO provides technology solutions and manages application portfolios for these groups to support modernization and optimization.
Within TCOO, the Fraud and Claims Technology team is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to help drive the evolution of our Fraud Analytics and Intelligence Platform. This platform underpins real-time AI model execution that protects millions of customers from fraud-at scale and with speed. In this role, the Senior Infrastructure Engineer will be instrumental in supporting enterprise-grade services, mainly Spark but also including- Nomad, Elasticsearch, and Redis. This person will take ownership of build, configuration, patching, and automation processes, ensuring high availability and performance across our big data and low-latency environments. We are looking for a self-starter who thrives in a distributed team environment and can align technical execution with leadership priorities. Experience with Ansible, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD tools is essential, and familiarity with Spark infrastructure is highly desirable.
In this role, you will:
  • Design and implement Ansible playbooks to modernize, secure, and optimize infrastructure components-starting with Spark and expanding to other critical services
  • Manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure updates, including initial provisioning, initial configuration, version upgrades, security patches, and configuration changes across lower environments, with a focus on production readiness and certification
  • Collaborate closely with software and data engineers to introduce new tools and services in development environments and engineer scalable, production-ready solutions
  • Support production change requests (CRs) and ensure smooth deployment and operational continuity
  • Provide Tier 2 support for service disruptions and outages, helping to maintain high availability and performance.
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of experience using automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
  • 2+ years of experience supporting or maintaining services like Apache Spark, HashiCorp Nomad, Kafka, Redis, or Elasticsearch
  • 2+ years of experience with modern CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub
Desired Qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience supporting implementation of Spark is highly desired to include cluster and resource mgt, job scheduling, and security settings
  • 2 years of experience providing troubleshooting support for platform or operational teams, including incident response and root cause analysis
  • 1+ year of experience with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
  • Experience supporting Openshift Container Platform is highly desired
  • Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure or low-latency systems, since the platform supports real-time AI model execution
Job Expectations:
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule - ability to work in office

Iselin, NJ Pay Range: $104,000 - $136,000 - $168,000

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
