What We Need: 

We are looking for a Sr. HR Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) to join our Synapse Health People Operations (HR) team!  This is a remote position serving as the strategic HR partner for several business functions. It will leverage HR consulting skills to help our leaders be deeply involved in the functions and achieve key business objectives that increase the effectiveness of their function. 

Examples of work include leading change management, partnering on org design and strategy, driving people initiatives to engage and retain talent. The position is functionally embedded with the teams they support in order to help them achieve their business outcomes. We’re looking for the most thoughtful, practical, and business-minded HRBPs to join the team to raise the bar! 

What You Will Do: 

  • Serve as a trusted thought partner, consultant, and coach to senior leaders and the teams they partner with.
  • Be the primary point of contact on all people-related matters for the functions they partner with.
  • Provide support, guidance, and thought leadership on areas such as performance management, change management, employee relations, workforce and talent planning, career development, manager development, etc.
  • Collect and analyze data to deliver insights and drive recommendations that support the business.
  • Assess organizational health and effectiveness on a regular basis and identify opportunities to drive improvements and efficiencies.
  • Drive the project management and execution of critical People programs such as talent reviews, compensation planning, workforce management, and engagement surveys.
  • In partnership with the broader People team, build and implement top-tier, scalable programs and policies to attract, retain, and grow outstanding talent.
  • Leverage technology to make informed decisions, improve the employee experience, and enhance our People Operations team capabilities.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact to address any employee relations situations that arise.
  • Drive and support our Performance Management process to foster an environment of high performance and continuous improvement.

What You Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is required.
  • HR Certification (PHR/SHRM-CP) preferable but not required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of People experience with at least 3-5 years in a strategic Business Partner role with demonstrated upward mobility.
  • Experience in a high-growth,  high-volume employee environment, diverse employee relations, and an emphasis talent development and management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and influence decision-making.
  • Experience with Paylocity or similar global HRIS platforms.
