Job Summary & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing, this position will have both global and regional downstream marketing responsibility for the following Carestream Dental Imaging Division digital solutions:

  • The Swissmeda brand portfolio of clinical solutions and cloud storage services, including: SMOP software and its Stackable solution, the Easy Digital Denture Solution (EDDS), the Imaging and Case Collaboration app, AI Insights and Swissmeda Cloud Imaging.
  • Imaging wrap-around services: all other non-core embedded solutions in CS Imaging, such as clinical services partnerships integrated with the Carestream Dental ecosystem (ex. Current Pearl partnership).

We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on B2B Marketing Manager to lead and coordinate marketing efforts across our branded product portfolios.  In this individual contributor role, you will be expected to think strategically while also rolling up your sleeves to execute—owning go-to-market strategies and driving brand awareness, demand generation, product launches, campaigns, content development, and event support.

This role also requires a strong ‘sales mindset’, with the ability to align with and influence sales execution.  As this is a global role, you will collaborate with and influence other marketing colleagues, senior leadership, and strategic account teams to deliver high-impact programs that support brand visibility, customer engagement, lead generation, and revenue growth.

The ideal candidate is a strategic yet hands-on marketer who thrives in a dynamic environment. You bring a blend of marketing expertise, go-to-market planning, and a commercially driven approach. You are self-motivated and eager to take ownership and deliver results with available resources.

About the Company:

Carestream Dental is a digital solutions leader built on more than 125 years of experience, that’s committed to transforming dentistry, simplifying technology, and changing lives. The business is comprised of three brand portfolios: The Carestream Dental brand of world-class oral healthcare devices, the Swissmeda brand of market-leading clinical software and services, and the Sensei brand of best-in-class practice management software and services. Together, they combine to provide integrated solutions that connect dental practice systems and workflows to deliver improved patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of comprehensive portfolio/brand strategies, in collaboration with key stakeholders, and ensure tactical execution.
  • Develop and refine product positioning, value propositions, and marketing messaging.  Work closely with product development teams (Product Line Managers ‘PLMs’) to gain a deep understanding of current offerings and upcoming innovations, leading the creation of compelling marketing content and collateral to support launches and ongoing campaigns. Guide regional marketing teams in the development of marketing plans and usage of materials developed.
    • Content needs include:  Integrated marketing campaigns across digital and social media, website, mailers, sales collateral, audiovisual (sales and tutorial videos), training & education materials, event signage and booth graphics, etc.
  • Quickly grasp and articulate the unique features and benefits of the SMOP product to tailor marketing strategies effectively.
  • Drive demand and generate product leads through targeted digital and traditional channels (web, social, SEO/SEM etc.) to boost brand awareness and trial-- resulting in stronger lead flow and higher conversion rates.  Continuously optimize plans to prioritize tactics that deliver the highest quality leads.
  • Develop strong go-to-market strategies and plans by understanding customer base and main targets, especially aggregators such as Dental Service Organizations, Implant companies, and Dental Labs. Define appropriate target audience and align marketing initiatives to the right target.
  • Successfully deliver innovation to the market (including partnerships): Collaborate closely with Upstream Product Marketing (Product Line Management), Regional Downstream Marketing, and Sales to translate product roadmaps and align resources into compelling product launch strategies and GTM planning. Develop support communication/advertising plans and track and review performance KPIs.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement the appropriate digital strategy (website, social, etc.) for the Swissmeda brand portfolio.
    • Starting with the US, create the marketing plan and communications mix articulating what content will be placed where and how.
    • Determine website best practice: standalone sites vs integrated into Carestream Dental/Technology existing sites or combinations thereof.
  • Recommend appropriate marketing mix, participation strategy, and prioritization of activity for: digital, courses, publications, conference and trade show/exposition visibility, other events, and key opinion leader (KOL) engagement and educational activity. Manage all marketing needs for these activities.
  • Partner with the sales teams to ensure successful collaboration, attainment of new business, and delivery. Foster a strong partnership between marketing and sales.
  • Able to stay ahead of market demands and customer needs by developing a quick understanding of industry dynamics, market trends, growth drivers, and the competitive landscape and tailor relevant marketing activity to capture opportunity.
  • Create and report on effective KPIs, collaborating with regional sales teams to ensure delivery against targets and making swift changes if not.
