As a senior financial analyst, your main objective is to analyze financial data, perform budgeting, forecasting and provide valuable financial insight to the business and recommendations to support strategic key initiatives. This role will lead the monthly close activities and support the business with cost improvement initiatives by partnering with cross functional teams and management to assess financial performance, identify trends and implement strategies to derive sustainable growth. Ideal candidate should have robust understanding of product costing and conversion cost.

The expected base salary range for this position is $84,500 to $105,650 CAD depending on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program. - Execute aspects of finance planning and performance management process and related financial decisions potentially including Annual Contract planning/forecasting, target development, financial performance reporting/analysis, financial modeling and decision support for a focused scope within a region, business unit, country, Supply Chain, Mondelēz International Business Services or Corporate Finance team. - Role involves providing strategic advice and working together with the plant leadership to ensure that business and financial targets are met. The objective is to ensure that actions taken in plant operations align with the company's broader goals and financial health.
- Review and track plant KPIs [waste/ overtime/ GE] weekly comparing actual performance vs standards
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and manage company's budgeting and forecasting process. This role involves creating financial models, analyze variances and providing insights on financial performance to support budgeting decisions.
- Prepare management reports to analyze budget to actual variance and track department spending vs actuals.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement including streamlines processes, financial analysis, and automation of financial reports.
- Weekly review financial performance and identify risk and opportunity and communicate results to Plant Leadership team.
- Lead month end closing process, ensure accruals are accurate and be able to resolve complex Journal Entries independently.
- Performing costing for new initiatives at bakery involves evaluating the expenses related to launching new products, processes, or equipment and identifying opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality.
- Prepare performance review deck for monthly operations review meetings.
- Partnering with plant operations team to ensure all assumptions for the costing are accurate and challenging the status quo.
- Review plant's financial performance weekly and monthly able to articulate results to Finance Director, Plant director and senior leadership team
Education / Experience:
- CPA Designation Preferred.
- Minimum 3-4 Years of Experience in Finance and Manufacturing.
- SAP Experience preferred along with Advanced Excel and Power BI
- Well organized with good analytical, reporting and presentation skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills as a Team player
