In this role, you will be responsible to partner with cross-functional team members to co-lead planning, forecasting and analytical efforts to deliver financial commitments, balanced with a sense of integrity and fiscal responsibilities. Direct and lead the annual planning, rolling forecasts, and business planning including formulation of the income statement, cost center-level expense planning, and presentations to the senior management team.
Responsibilities
- Develop annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and strategic plans in conjunction with management using company analytics and enter the numbers into the planning system.
- Work with the team to manage and support phases of the noninterest income and expense financial planning process. Interpret financial results by comparing and analyzing plans and forecasts with actual results.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure the accuracy of the financial statements and provide analytical support in regard to results and trends.
- Create monthly expense reports/ P&Ls and provide variance analysis for management review by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, and making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.
- Improve and construct new capabilities around performance metric analysis and reporting to track key financial objectives and targets.
- Automate and simplify processes and reporting structures through standardization. Participate in process improvement, project analysis and due diligence.
- Collaborate in the development of financial models and perform valuation analyses.
- Work on ad-hoc projects/analyses including systems user-acceptance testing on core financial systems.
- Research and analyze industries, companies, historical financial statements and projecting financial information.
- Bachlors Degree - Finance, Accounting or Related - Minimum
- 3 years - Finance, accounting, financial planning, analysis or related - Minimum
- 8 years - Finance, accounting arenas, financial planning, analysis role or related
Compensation & Benefits:
Typical hiring range: $76,500 - $108,050 Annually. Actual compensation will be determined using factors such as experience, skills & knowledge.
