Location/Division Specific Information

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance professional to join our team! As the Senior Finance Manager, you will lead our Laboratory Equipment Division’s (LED) Asheville Site. The role will own the manufacturing site’s results by ensuring standard processes are implemented and improvement strategies are delivered. This role will manage a team of 4 reports and drive partnership with our Global Shared Services finance team in Costa Rica.

You will work to build a world-class manufacturing organization by developing and deploying strategic actions to improve both efficiency and customer experience. You will be an essential part of the operations leadership team, collaborating with supply chain, sourcing, site operations, and operational improvement leaders to drive critical metrics.

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

  • Lead all aspects of cost of sales and inventory management processes.
  • Drive standardization and clear financial reporting to key site-level and business-level metrics
  • Develop robust processes and scorecards to provide understanding of key Operations metrics
  • Clearly articulate financial and operational results to senior leadership

Planning and Forecasting:

  • Own development of the annual budget and monthly forecast
  • Identify business risks and mitigating opportunities to enable the delivery of financial targets
  • Improve forecast processes to ensure that financial commitments are met
  • Drive effective prioritization and return on proposed investments

Business Partnership & Leadership:

  • Exhibit role model leadership and intensely focus on employee development
  • Apply a continuous improvement attitude in your leadership approach
  • Lead critical initiatives across multiple functions to improve efficiency and/or profitability
  • Provide strategic partnership and direction to the operations team, optimizing profitability

Accounting & Controls:

  • Lead internal and external audit and work with management to develop remediation plans
  • Apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and corporate accounting policy
  • Improve processes with Global Business Services (GBS) by aligning metrics and methodologies
  • Strengthen quarterly balance sheet reviews and partner with GBS on other critical projects

How you will get here:

  • Accounting/Finance Degree required
  • MBA or CMA/CPA preferred
  • 7+ years of dynamic relevant work experience within a global organization
  • Great knowledge of US GAAP
