Abnormal AI is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Finance to join our growing Finance team. This role will be pivotal in leading corporate-level financial modeling and systems optimization, enabling better decision-making through best-in-class tools and frameworks. You'll be a core contributor in building and managing driver-based models in Pigment, improving reporting workflows, and supporting scalable planning processes.
You’ll help shape financial narratives for executive leadership, build models to evaluate business performance and scenarios, and lead process improvements in reporting and planning systems like Pigment.
The ideal candidate has strong FP&A or consulting experience with a passion for systems, data structure, and model building.
- Serve as a key thought partner on system integrations, data flows, and planning tools
- Manage and enhance FP&A systems, with a focus on Pigment or similar tools, to improve reporting automation and planning workflows.
- Design and implement automation in reporting, planning, and dashboarding to improve finance team efficiency
- Champion continuous improvement in financial processes, tools, and internal controls.
- Pioneer AI solutions for the FP&A team, focused on building automation & efficiency into Pigment forecasting
- Build and maintain robust, driver-based financial models to support long-range planning, corporate budgeting and forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- Lead month-end close and variance analysis processes, ensuring accuracy and insightful commentary on corporate results.
- Partner with Accounting, Strategy, and Business Operations to deliver timely, high-quality management reporting and financial insights.
- Develop and maintain executive and Board-level reporting packages to surface business performance, risks, and opportunities
- 3+ years of FP&A or Finance experience, with a focus on modeling, forecasting, and financial systems.
- Advanced modeling skills and experience building scalable models in Pigment, Anaplan, or similar tools (strong preference for Pigment)
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data integration principles for financial systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated experience supporting financial planning systems, data management, and reporting automation
- High level of ownership and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment
- Clear, confident communicator with strong collaboration skills across departments
- Experience with AI, automation, or analytics tools integrated into finance workflows
- Familiarity with SaaS business models, especially in cybersecurity or high-growth tech environments
- Prior experience in consulting, banking or other similar industries.
