The Role:

Carrot Fertility is seeking a Senior Events Marketing Manager to support our global event strategy and execution across in-person and virtual experiences. This role will oversee the end-to-end planning, production, and performance of events that strengthen Carrot’s brand presence, drive pipeline generation, and cultivate meaningful engagement with prospects, clients, and partners.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and hands-on operator — someone who can move seamlessly between high-level planning and tactical execution. You thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy cross-functional collaboration, and are passionate about creating experiences that inspire and connect.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Event Leadership: Develop and execute Carrot’s annual event strategy, ensuring alignment with marketing, sales, and brand goals across tradeshows, conferences, executive events, and owned experiences.
  • Event Planning & Execution: Lead all aspects of event management including venue selection, vendor negotiations, booth design, collateral, registration, sponsorships, and logistics for both in-person and virtual formats.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to identify event opportunities that drive brand awareness, generate leads, and deepen customer relationships.
  • Budget & ROI Management: Own the event budget from forecasting to reconciliation; track spend against performance and deliver ROI reporting tied to pipeline and engagement metrics.
  • Brand Stewardship: Serve as an ambassador of Carrot’s mission and values, ensuring a consistent brand voice and experience across all events and touchpoints.
  • Speaker & Content Management: Oversee speaker selection, preparation, and presentation logistics; ensure alignment with Carrot’s thought leadership and messaging strategy.
  • Data & Insights: Deliver post-event reports with data-driven insights, KPIs, and recommendations to continuously optimize Carrot’s event strategy.
  • Innovation & Experience Design: Conceptualize and implement new event formats — from executive roundtables to experiential activations — that differentiate Carrot in the marketplace.
  • Team Development: Mentor and guide junior team members and external partners to ensure operational excellence and consistent execution across all events.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7 years of progressive event management experience, preferably within a B2B SaaS, healthcare, or HR technology organization.
  • Demonstrated success designing and executing large-scale events (1,000+ attendees) and strategic executive programs.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with exceptional organization, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions and seniority levels.
  • Experience managing budgets, negotiating vendor contracts, and delivering measurable business outcomes through events.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Salesforce CRM (lead and campaign management) and event platforms such as Splash, Cvent, or similar tools.
  • High comfort level operating in a dynamic, fast-growing environment with shifting priorities and evolving goals.
  • Passion for healthcare, technology, and mission-driven work.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%. Event season may require more.

Compensation:

Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package. The starting base salary for this position will range from $120,000.00 - $140,000.00. Actual compensation may vary from posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.
