PAY RANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $128,900.00-$157,500.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $99,900.00 - $186,400.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. To join our dynamic team, we require candidates to be residents of WA, CA, VA, NC, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, or SC. If you’re located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila, we are requesting that you come into our HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE
As a Senior Enterprise Project Manager at BECU, you’ll lead the delivery of complex, enterprise technology initiatives that support our core banking ecosystem, with a strong focus on DNA core banking implementations and enhancements.
You’ll oversee project management operations end-to-end – driving project planning, scope definition, and detailed timeline management to ensure consistent, predictable delivery. Partnering across Product Management and Development teams, you’ll bring structure, alignment, and execution to initiatives that power how BECU operates and serves its members.
Your ability to manage complexity, coordinate across teams, and drive disciplined execution will directly impact the success of core banking implementations and enterprise technology delivery.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Lead DNA Core Banking Delivery: Oversee project management operations for DNA core banking implementations, including defining project scope, building detailed timelines, and ensuring consistent, successful delivery.
Drive End-to-End Execution: Lead enterprise initiatives from planning through execution and closure, ensuring alignment to business goals and measurable outcomes.
Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with Product, Engineering, and Infrastructure teams to deliver initiatives across core banking platforms, integrations, and cloud-based environments (Azure preferred).
Build and Manage Delivery Plans: Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, managing timelines, dependencies, resources, and priorities across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Operate Across Agile and Hybrid Models: Apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies to support both development and infrastructure workstreams, leveraging tools such as Azure DevOps (Boards, Dashboards, Wiki).
Ensure Transparency and Governance: Facilitate governance forums, product discussions, and executive-level updates while maintaining clear, consistent communication across stakeholders.
Manage Risk and Dependencies: Proactively identify risks, remove blockers, and manage dependencies across interconnected systems to maintain delivery momentum.
Oversee Financials and Vendors: Manage project budgets, forecasts, and vendor relationships, ensuring financial accountability and alignment to delivery goals.
Mentor and Elevate Delivery Practices: Support and guide other project managers while contributing to continuous improvement across delivery frameworks and tools.
Take on Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned to support evolving business and technology needs.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business or computer science or equivalent work or educational experience.
Minimum 7 years of experience leading enterprise-level projects or programs, with a focus on technology, infrastructure, or system implementation initiatives.
Demonstrated experience delivering complex technology initiatives across cross-functional teams, including system implementations, integrations, and infrastructure programs, with strong expertise in project planning, scope definition, timeline management, governance, and end-to-end delivery execution required.
Experience in project planning, scope definition, timeline management, governance, and delivery execution required.
Experience using industry-standard project management tools such as MS Project, Azure DevOps, or similar, and guiding others in their use.
Desired Qualifications
Advanced degree preferred.
Professional certifications such as PMP, CSM, or equivalent Agile credentials preferred.
Experience within financial services, banking, or core banking environments preferred.
Experience with DNA or similar platforms preferred.
Experience supporting system integrations, platform enhancements, or modernization efforts preferred.
