Job Overview:

The Cloud Office team is looking for a Sr. Engineer to participate in the planning, design, and management of the company’s Messaging, Collaboration and M365 infrastructure. This position will provide subject matter expertise in support of Exchange on-premises, Exchange Online, and Microsoft 365 core services. To support this requirement, the role requires strong knowledge and expertise with designing, engineering, implementing, and supporting the relevant messaging, collaboration, and core M365 technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the migration of 50,000+ mailboxes from a single on premises Exchange organization to multiple distinct M365/EXO tenants

  • Assist with developing roadmaps, governance, processes, and policies aligning to business and IT strategy of future Cloud Office offerings

  • Function as an engineer for the various messaging applications and tools in M365 within the Cloud Office space

  • Act as liaison with Compliance and Regulatory teams

  • Assist in creating automation workflows for common/standard requests and integrating with ServiceNow.

  • Prioritize deliverables including project and BAU activities

  • Provide Critical Incident support and participate in on-call rotation for deployed M365 components

Requirements:

  • Degree in a related field or equivalent IT work experience (6+ years)

  • 10+ years of experience in Enterprise level Microsoft Exchange environments (50,000+ mailboxes), both on-premises and Exchange Online, including migrations

  • 5+ years of experience creating and modifying PowerShell scripts for on-premises AD and M365 components, including Graph API

  • Experience migrating on-premises Microsoft Exchange mailboxes from a single organization to multiple Exchange Online tenants via Hybrid and BitTitan MigrationWiz

Preferences:

  • Relevant, current technical certifications encouraged

  • Experience designing, engineering, implementing, and managing multiple Azure tenants

  • Ability to explain technical procedures in business terms for non-technical stakeholders

  • Hands-on experience working in complex infrastructure environments in a highly regulated industry

  • Experience with Jira and Confluence a plus

Pay Range:

$101,700-$169,500/year
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
