Senior Director of Solutions Engineering (Founding Solutions Engineering Leader)About the Role

As the Senior Director of Solutions Engineering at Greenlite AI, you’ll build and lead our Solutions Engineering function from the ground up—while remaining deeply hands-on. You’ll partner with global banks, regional institutions, and fintechs to fight financial crime at scale through the power of agentic AI.

This is a founding go-to-market leadership role: you’ll define how Greenlite turns complex compliance and risk challenges into tangible value for customers. You’ll architect solutions, run discovery, lead executive demos, and close technical deals—all while creating the frameworks, playbooks, and culture that will scale a world-class Solutions Engineering organization.

You’ll report directly to our COO and collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering to shape Greenlite’s go-to-market motion and influence the product roadmap.

What You’ll Do

First 30 Days
  • Immerse yourself in Greenlite’s platform, AI agents, and customer use cases across AML, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring.

  • Lead discovery sessions and demos for active enterprise deals; own technical strategy and solution design.

  • Map the customer and competitive landscape—understand how CROs, CFOs, and Compliance Officers buy and where Solutions Engineering drives the most value.

Within 60–90 Days
  • Own 6–8 active enterprise deals as the primary technical lead, driving outcomes from discovery through close.

  • Define Greenlite’s presales engagement model—when SEs engage, how they partner with AEs, and how we measure impact.

  • Build the first presales playbook—including demo scripts, ROI frameworks, architecture templates, and competitive positioning materials.

  • Begin hiring and mentoring your first 1–2 Solutions Engineers; establish the recruiting bar, interview process, and onboarding plan.

Ongoing
  • Serve as a player-coach, remaining hands-on in deals while building and developing a team of 4–5 SEs over the next 18–24 months.

  • Create scalable processes, tools, and assets to accelerate deal velocity (CRM discipline, demo environments, asset libraries).

  • Own presales KPIs—POC win rates, cycle time, customer satisfaction, and ARR impact; analyze wins/losses to refine messaging.

  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to translate customer insights into roadmap priorities.

  • Represent Greenlite at industry events and in key executive meetings, establishing thought leadership around AI and financial crime prevention.

Who You Are
  • 7+ years in enterprise B2B SaaS, with at least 4 years in presales or Solutions Engineering leadership roles.

  • Proven success closing $500K+ enterprise deals and building or scaling SE teams.

  • Deep domain expertise in financial services, financial crime prevention, compliance automation, or regulatory technology.

  • Skilled at engaging C-suite stakeholders (CROs, CFOs, Compliance, and CTOs) and balancing technical depth with business value.

  • Experienced in complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles and value-based solution design.

  • Comfortable building from zero in high-growth environments—resourceful, fast-moving, and execution-oriented.

  • Passionate about Greenlite’s mission: using AI to make global banking safer and more transparent.

Why Join Greenlite
  • Build a foundational GTM function at a company redefining how AI combats financial crime.

  • Work with financial institutions serving over a billion people worldwide.

  • Collaborate with a world-class team from Palantir, SpaceX, Stripe, Airbnb, Meta, Uber, and Databricks.

  • Influence Greenlite’s GTM strategy, product direction, and customer success model.

  • Join a company backed by top investors who believe in AI’s power to transform global compliance and risk management.

Compensation & Logistics
  • Title: Senior Director of Solutions Engineering (Founding Solutions Engineering Leader)

  • Location: Remote (US-based)

  • Compensation: Competitive salary and equity package commensurate with experience; reflects early-stage leadership scope and impact.
