The Sr. Director, Product Manager is a senior leadership role reporting to the Head of Product Management, responsible for leading strategic product initiatives and driving product excellence across the Digital Product organization. This role provides deep product leadership for critical customer-facing products and platforms while building product management capabilities, establishing best practices, and mentoring product teams throughout the organization.

The Sr. Director serves as a key strategic partner to executive leadership, translating business strategy into product vision and roadmaps that deliver measurable customer and business value. This position requires balancing hands-on product ownership with organizational leadership, coaching product managers, and driving consistent product discipline across teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and own multi-year product strategy aligned with EZCORP’s business and operating objectives.

  • Translate executive priorities into structured product roadmaps and investment plans.

  • Ensure consistent prioritization across platforms based on customer impact, revenue, risk, and operational efficiency.

Customer & Business Outcomes

  • Champion a customer-centric approach grounded in measurable business outcomes.

  • Drive improvements in customer satisfaction, digital adoption, and revenue performance.

  • Improve operational efficiency across store and corporate workflows.

  • Ensure product performance is measured, reviewed, and continuously improved.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and develop senior product leaders, including Directors and Group Product Managers.

  • Establish consistent product management standards, governance, and accountability.

  • Build leadership depth and succession readiness within the product organization.

  • Foster a culture of ownership, transparency, and execution discipline.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Operations, IT and Design teams to deliver high-quality products on schedule and on budget

  • Collaborate with Marketing to drive product adoption, positioning, and go-to-market strategies

  • Work with Operations and Store Experience teams to ensure products meet field team needs and drive operational efficiency

  • Engage with Compliance and Legal to ensure regulatory adherence in financial services products

  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders across functions to understand needs, gather requirements, and align priorities

  • Lead cross-functional product planning sessions, roadmap reviews, and stakeholder alignment meetings

Product Excellence & Standards

  • Establish and drive consistent product management practices, standards, and operating rhythms across the Digital Product organization

  • Define and implement product frameworks for discovery, prioritization, roadmapping, and delivery

  • Create templates, tools, and resources that enable product teams to work more effectively

  • Drive adoption of product analytics, user research, and experimentation capabilities

  • Advocate for technical excellence, platform thinking, and reduced technical debt in product decisions

  • Champion customer-centric design and accessibility in all Digital products

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • 15+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Strategy, or Platform Leadership roles.

  • 8-10+ years in senior leadership positions (Director / Senior Director or equivalent).

  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex products in regulated industries, preferably financial services, lending, payments, or retail finance.

  • Proven ability to scale and modernize large, mission-critical platforms.

  • Strong cross-functional leadership experience with Engineering, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Finance.

  • Track record of driving execution predictability and measurable business outcomes.

  • Exceptional communication and decision-making skills at the executive level.

  • Experience with AI-assisted prototyping (Claude Code, Cursor, Figma AI) to create stateful, interactive prototype

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Design, or related field required

  • MBA or Master's degree strongly preferred
